AND THATS A WHITE SOX PLAYOFF WINNER
Buehrle was amazing tonite. That was an ace performance, and especially considering the way the bats were performing.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) f***puffs. LMAO, you learn a new and great swearword in the strangest places. And I thought the closeup replay definitely looked like it was bounced into his glove. We know what McCarver and Buck think though

"Allegations"
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Sep 27, 2005 -> 06:06 PM) :rolly The key word is "allegations". It is up to law enforcement agencies to determine if these "allegations" are serious enough to issue arrest warrants. If that were to happen the Freedom of Information Act would afford the media the right to their names. The Church have taken a "guilty by association" policy where allegations are enough to remove the men from public ministry. Only a liberal would expect something more than that. Seems like a whole lot of "allegations" and "guilt by association" going on here, eh Juggs? Whats that old adage? Oh yeah, where there is smoke, there is fire..... http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/10/12/priest.abuse.ap/index.html

Vikings involved in alleged Sex party
Mike Tice's Minnesota career is at the end of the slingshots pull right now. I really thought he was going to have a tough, good team this year. I never imagined s*** like this happening and not involving Moss.

Angels @ White Sox--ALCS Game 2
The Angels stole the "Us against the World" mojo from the Sox last night. It is pretty important to the success of this series to get that mojo back. This is a great test for both teams. The big networks dont see it this way, but I dont think they could have put together two teams that would duke it out as tough as I think these two teams will. I expect this series to go a hard-fought seven games. And true to form, the White Sox couldnt get over the 8 game winning streak hump. For some reason, I dont think the White Sox have won more than 8 games in a row in 20 years, maybe more. Someone call me on that if i am wrong.

Evolution, Creationism, & a middleground
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 09:51 AM) Ah, you can always go back and read the first post again. That will start the laughter all over again. Heck I still think my test of Juggernauts belief in Democracy needs to be done. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=915099 PUT IT TO A VOTE!!! i dont think it would reaffirm any belief in democracy that he has, Juggs already thinks we are all narrow-minded and against him. Unfortunately, he doesnt seem to realize that he is the one that keeps throwing down the gauntlet to everyone else.

Evolution, Creationism, & a middleground
Its a startling lack of pirates in this world. I dont know why this theory hasnt been more thoroughly researched. I will be careful when I eat my marinara from now on.

QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 04:45 PM) The craziest part of that movie was Dennis Quaid actually making it to New York, completely insane but entertaining movie. I saw it on opening night! Yeah, it was pretty funny when they walked from philedelphia.

Evolution, Creationism, & a middleground
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 03:58 PM) to Juggs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universe Human life is probably random, and there's probably no way of ever proving anything else. Babbling in a language most soxtalk users have no interest in and constantly lumping Democrats, Agnostics, Secularists into a group negatively and ignorantly will get you nowhere in this debate, it's condescending and annoying. The sad thing is that he keeps trying to engage the same debate, in which he refuses to acknowledge any other side of the debate.

Feelings...
QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 01:32 PM) I'm not either. I really dont understand it either. Im usually a wreck when playoffs are involved. I chewed my nails to a stump when the Sox were playing the Indians in the last 3 games of the season, and i was nervous as hell when Game 1 started. But it seems like this strange euphoria has set over me. I havent been worried about what is happening at all. Of course, if the Sox drop one, this is all subject to change.

Feelings...
I am not nervous at all. I havent been nervous since Game 1.
