  1. QUOTE (oldsox @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 07:23 AM) Can Soto hit lefties any better than Viciedo? I don't think so. This whole Beckham/Viciedo charade is crazy. Hahn is taking a big chance here. If LaRoche doesn't hit this year, if he turns into an old guy real fast, if he is the 2015 version of Adam Dunn, Sox are in trouble. Viciedo at least represented a RH DH alternative, now it's Soto? Sox are now a weaker team than they were a week ago, and we take back Gordo to clog up the infield even more? Where does this leave Bontifacio and all his speed? If Hahn wants to use Gordo as a RH third baseman because Gillaspie can't hit lefties, why didn't he do that last year? Sorry, I don't get it. Looks like a Forrest Gump move to me. If Laroche failed and you were expecting Viciedo to swoop in and save the day, I am sorry you got your hopes up at all. They arent a weaker team because they swapped out bench players, and got rid of one that couldnt play a lick of defense
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 06:58 AM) The Bulls actually have looked much more comfortable in the fast western conference pace than in games vs Indiana/Miami The weird thing is that a lot of these bad teams beating the Bulls (the Heat/Magic/Celtics) have been beating them by playing super up tempo, get the ball and run and try and score. Then they play teams out of the West and play that exact same game just fine. It is so confusing because it is not any different, except the opponents record.
  3. Bruce Levine just called Beckham a great defensive player, quite possibly one of the greatest defensive players in the league(he didnt really clarify if he meant at second or just overall). If you dont believe me listen to the Mully and Hanley podcast between 6:00AM and 6:30AM
  4. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:25 PM) I really hope you're right, they along with Washington are the two teams that worry me the most in the East. The Wizards will be legit if they can keep Nene healthy. If he goes down I feel pretty confident about the Bulls handling the Wizards
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:36 PM) Not a good day for JB Shuck. Is there ever a good day for a guy whose last name is Shuck? I would wake up and be sad immediately
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 12:59 PM) Hawks are playing fantastic basketball. Golden State has the star power but Hawks defense is superb. Also have highest winning percentage in the NBA vs. the Western Conference. Thats great and all, they are a really great story this season. I just dont buy it. I think they are gonna be a regular season champ and get exposed in the post season. If they dont, hey im wrong. Wouldnt be the first time, wouldnt be the last.
  7. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 12:56 PM) There's a team down south that has won 16 in a row and 30 of their last 32 games... Yea, I dont really care
  8. kids writing FART on the wall is always permissible. Appeal denied
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 11:55 AM) Didn't Gar basically text Woj and say, its all good in the hood. He also texted Cowley and said it is a non story. But it is always a story if you keep talking about it
  10. Cowley has been pounding the "Thibs will be gone next year/discord with the FO/discord with Reinsdorf" story all season, since FIBA. Its not going away because he wont let it. Paxson even had "loud conversation" with him and KC Johnson this past week
  11. I cant believe it is likely that the Bears are gonna switch to a 3-4. Never thought I would see that
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 10:55 AM) I'm being seirous. Jordan had to love that game. His Bulls vs. the Warriors, who are one of the funnest teams to watch play. Tempo of the game, everything about the game was fun...better yet, we got the W at the end! Im being just as serious. J4L doesnt issue praise to the bulls very often, good game or not. Plus he annointed Curry and Thompson the best ever recently, so i dont think he is gonna come in here and admit that Kirk Hinrich had a good defensive game against Klay Thompson. Not without a random 90s Knicks reference, at least
  13. You better not ever do that again in the name of post count. Only SS2K5 is allowed to do that
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 10:43 AM) Jordan, where the hell are you. You, as a great fan of basketball, had to freaking be entertained like I was throughout the game? Right? Ha.
  15. QUOTE (LDF @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 09:21 AM) ahhh being superstitious, maybe that is why the bulls won. The Warriors had won 19 in a row at home and are far and away the best team in the NBA at the moment, and the Bulls were missing Jimmy Buckets and Dunleavy. I was being realistic
  16. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 08:20 AM) If you like Russians, that's exactly how it works. WE ALREADY WENT OVER THIS IN THE RELATIONSHIP THREAD GEEZ GUYS
  17. To say that Jose Abreu doesnt understand the concept of this thread would be understating it. (I stayed with the correct letter)
  18. Im not ashamed to say I made it to the 4th quarter right up until that ridiculous over the shoulder pass by Curry to Lee for the fastbreak dunk, turned off the tv and said "Nope. goodnight" Nice to wake up to a win.
  19. Niko seems to come out super unsure and hesitant more often than not, and then has a moment where you can see him snap into the game and get faster within the offense.
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 07:22 PM) 16 what? Dribbles underneath the hoop while wasting the shot clock
  21. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 06:59 PM) If I turn on the tv and see hinrich starting I'm turning off the tv immediately and going to bed. Win-win for me. But you would have seen him. And deep in your mind you will know that Kirk Hinrich is playing basketball for the Bulls at that very moment
  22. @NBAInjuryR3port: Mike Dunleavy (masturbated with shampoo, stings a little bit when he pees) will sit out Tuesday against the Warriors.
  23. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 03:31 PM) I love Richard Sherman. Don't find him unlikable at all. Must be the wrestling fan in the both of us recognizing a good heel
  24. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 11:53 AM) Looks like Cena won't be halting Rusev's momentum at Mania...it'll happen at Fast Lane! The only question is how long Rusev stays in the "got punked by the Cena train" doghouse. Bray is still mostly in there, but he is starting to come out
