  1. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 10:10 AM) I am also disappointed in me. The more you post the less we will get back from the Yankees for you
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 11:36 AM) Gotta hope Gruden or Cowher wants to jump back in. They didn't two years ago, so not sure they would now. And they'd probably want some personnel control, and Emery isn't giving that up. I wouldn't mind Cowher but I'm not so hot on Gruden. He never really got back to the super bowl level after being handed a SB ready team and beating his old team(that he knew inside and out) After that season, it was kind of a mess, and he had all kinds of personnel control.
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 11:18 AM) Well, let's just hope the White Sox are capable of doing more due diligence than the average message board poster. An a "bulging" disk is usually different than a herniated one, whereas one might respond to muscle and spinal treatment/strengthening/physical therapy and the other might require some type of fusion surgery like the Crede surgery. Is it degenerative? Even in that latter scenario, it was reported numerous times that Paulie's physical problems would end his career in his late 20's/early 30's and that never transpired. I wouldn't expect the sox to just give him a "turn your head and cough" physical. Everyone knows he has had back problems, I'm sure Herm and staff know what to look for. Plus, I'm pretty sure Konerkos issues were with a degenerative hip, not back. Given that Konerkos game isn't exactly based on speed, they were able to deal with whatever came their way.
  4. Brady Aiken? caulfield what are you talking about, that has to be one of the most unique physical situations that has ever happened, and Aiken wasn't even injured. Totally unrelated and I highly doubt that situation has any impact on physicals going forward.
  5. http://www.csnchicago.com/bears/rodgers-pa...ls-blowout-loss More fun
  6. That surprises me, Mannelly has been in Trestmans corner since he has been on the radio
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 09:47 AM) Is Shoop at Purdue now? He might be. He has bounced around a lot.
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 04:13 AM) Steve Carlton says "hi!" I had no idea he was one of KWs guys he was trying to get for a long time.
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 09:26 AM) Yeah it would be so much better if he threw his assistants under the bus. That would fix the team. The team sucks, our coaching sucks, I know everyone wants a symbolic gesture of anger, but who cares about that? You think he's really happy with what he's gotten out of his assistants? I don't think it is symbolic to fire Tucker or Decamillis right now. They are both not doing their jobs, and it is quite alarming how bad it has become. Those are two coordinAtors in way over their heads and losing them right now won't hurt one bit That being said, I absolutely did not expect to hear Trestman put his coordinators and assistants on blast, it isn't in his nature. He is like Jauron, he is gonna go down with the Shoop
  10. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 08:06 AM) If you think the coaches are the only problem, you are very wrong. When you play this badly, the problems are very, very widespread. I'd look to the team leaders on offense and defense - likely Cutler and Briggs - as tremendous failures in their positions as well. Of course, the largest problem is that the players aren't good enough. You can't fire the players. And when the team looks as underprepared and lost as the Bears did for the last two weeks, with a bye week in between, a large portion of that falls on the coaching staff. There was breakdowns in all three phases that led to scores, that is terrible.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 09:27 PM) I think everyone saw that coming when they missed the playoffs. Just like everyone sees it coming with the last two games
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 09:19 PM) Let's keep in mind what family owns this team. No chance they pull off a mid season firing. There was no chance they fired Lovie either, with a year on his deal. They did that.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 09:18 PM) Who cares?
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 09:08 PM) Honestly, what do you do tomorrow if you are Phil Emery? Heads are rolling. Jobs are lost tonite
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 09:03 PM) Cutler with just awful awareness there. There's no reason for him to play in the 2nd half. Why, because Claussen needs playing time? f*** that, Cutler can lay in the bed he s*** in
  16. Guys, your arguing is lame. The entire team sucks equally, everyone gets blame. Tucker, Trestman, DCam gotta go. The end
  17. @MarkPotash: In the first half of their last three games, the #Bears have been outscored 80-7.
  18. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 07:57 PM) f*** it I'm Jay Cutler!!! God he sucks so hard. You are Jay Cutler?!?! f*** YOU JAY CUTLER
  19. Carson Palmer signs extension. Carson Palmer tears ACL
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 9, 2014 -> 05:13 PM) Thought he signed with Cleveland? I did too, apparently he hasn't signed with anyone yet
  21. Bulls have been talking to Ray Allen this week. Interesting
  22. So Sony seems to be selling off everything but the console/gaming part of the business. Pretty crazy to see a tech giant like them cutting off multiple pieces to stay alive. They could end up being purely a gaming company in the near future
  23. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 8, 2014 -> 09:17 PM) I'm ready to say that Pau is worse defensively than Boozer. The blocks Pau gets don't make up for his atrocious feet and laziness nor his awful rebounding. I don't know if he's just struggling with the workload or what, but he absolutely kills us on D http://deadspin.com/the-lakers-suck-so-god...-sho-1654894742
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 8, 2014 -> 03:17 PM) The big three each got to the conference finals once. Other than that, there was a whole lot of getting knocked out the first round or missing the playoffs all together. Rondo/Perkins had never played in the playoffs either. This no playoffs stuff is just dumb. When all the smoke clears in 6 months, who the f*** in the eastern conference is going to beat them in May? The Bullls will never get to the next level with a 6'1 pg that can't stay healthy for more than a couple weeks at a time and absorbs as much payroll as he does. Toronto? Wizards? Heat? They had experience in the playoffs, that's the entire point. And more than just the big 3. The entire argument you are trying to dismiss is that the entire team except Lebron and Varejao has no experience, which is somewhat of a big deal. Teams of rookies don't just kick the door down in the NBA QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 8, 2014 -> 06:40 PM) What "established" winners did Boston have before '08? Oh that's right. They had none. Come on, you just want to nitpick here now in order to say the Cavs are gonna get to the ECF. Ok fine, these players, while getting to the playoffs(therefore earning playoff experience) did not have Finals experience. Happy? There ya go
