I am telling you, I go in there on a regular basis cause this is my neighborhood and I see alot of sox gear cause this is the southside but, wow this place was awesome. we all had a great time. Lots of beautiful girls and the staff are all extremely cute all decked out in soxgear and the place was packed to the brim.

Hawkeyes on Taylor & Laflin GREAT bar, it's absolutely packed with soxfans to the point where last night they had to turn people away. Everyone was all decked out in thier gear and was completely into the game. It was the best bar game watching experince I've had yet. And they had cheap drinks and it's a really nice place with alot of plasma's in every direction. I'll be there weds night for sure.

Everywhere I've been going I've seen alot of soxgear for sale. I bought a shirt last night with a grim reaper that says HEE GONE!! It's got graves with cleveland and boston written on them, I also scored a real WS patch for my jersey also. That was sweet.

I have been looking for those signs that people all over have been bringing to games, they're just big 3 foot tall sox logos all cut out and badass looking. I called Grandstand and the girl on the phone was clueless Here is my secret for getting tickets and I will only share this info with the good people of soxtalk..... Call a ticketmaster in like montana or some out the universe state and order your tickets, normally it's worked for me in the past and worked for the ALDS Gotta find the #'s yourself though.... .goodluck to all the DIE HARDS

If anyone of you are ever in the Little Italy area ( UIC neighborhood ) Hawkeyes is a total Sox bar, it's good food and reasonable drink prices. Plus the waitstaff are cute and 8 out of 10 people are wearing sox hats on game nights. It's on Taylor & Laflin in Chicago

I agree with alot of what people are saying. I just confer that if there was anyone to turn him into a non douche it's Ozzie. I am starting to get the feeling that all the latin players and alot of players in general are going to want to play for him. BOSTON -- If seeing high-priced Manny Ramirez in a White Sox uniform next season sounds far-fetched, consider that the Boston Red Sox outfielder has said he would like it to happen. According to a source, Ramirez told multiple White Sox players earlier this season that he wanted to play on the South Side and suit up for manager Ozzie Guillen. Seeing the White Sox jump out to a 2-0 lead over the Red Sox in the American League Division Series this week might have inspired Ramirez into action to make a White Sox deal a reality. A report Thursday said Ramirez had fired his agent and is seeking a replacement, possibly with the intent of having his new representation work a trade out of Boston. Landing the volatile outfielder seems unlikely, though, and not only because of his price tag. Ramirez is due to make $57 million over the next three seasons and has $20 million team options for 2009 and 2010. Earlier this season, after Ramirez told Sports Illustrated that he preferred a trade from the Red Sox, members of White Sox management said Ramirez's baggage was capable of damaging team chemistry. Ramirez is the kind of high-profile, large-ego player whom general manager Ken Williams avoided when putting together this season's roster. One definite snag in Ramirez's plans to change his Sox is that a report on FoxSports.com said he might be seeking Scott Boras as his new agent. This past offseason, the Sox eliminated Boras clients from their list of potential free-agent pitching acquisitions. The only Sox player currently represented by Boras is Joe Crede I like this idea, I have to admit it I'm a Manny fan. I think if there was anyone to keep him on a short leash, it's Ozzie.
