Every year me and some friends go to a forgien city for a Sox game. This year it's new york cause it's over a weekend. Me and 6-10 others will be invading NYC and hitting all the spots like scores and all the bars that are cool. A guy coming along is a born and bred new yorker from manhattan, its going to be awesome.

Hawkeyes in little italy ...it was like mardi gras it was INSANE

The parade was amazing, I was out in front of my work @ CBOT and the paper was flying through the air and the streets were completley jammed full of people. The Rally on the other hand was the hardest part of the day, Ive never been so crammed in anywhere. People were getting pissed, I really wish they coulda done it in grant park for space reasons. and you couldn't hear a thing and paulie got a ton of cheers, the mosty with people chanting 5 more years and pay him! it was cool but cramped.

If you get a subscription to SI you get a hardcover book all about the team, this set of three baseballs and a Ws coin. I just wanted the book, so when soxfest rolls into town and I manage to sneak in I'll have them sign the book.

Man, was I drunk last night. I woke up drunk this morning and came into work stumbling alil. Hawkeyes was a great time, that had to be one of the best scenes in the city.

My girlfriend just left me a message asking me if I wanted to go and watch the game with her friend and boyfriend at Bourbon street. This is a joke, these two people have given nothing but grief about how the sox suck and we're the worthless team and all that noise. They both work in wrigleyville bars and just like the cubs because, we all know why. This severly pisses me off, I am not your vindication for liking a horrible team and they can go jump on thier bandwagon else where and f*** off for all I am concerned. If I sound like a moron I am sorry but I won't accept people who've always talked s*** on the sox suddenly be rooting for them.
