  1. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 7, 2011 -> 12:46 PM) Seriously, do people confuse Milledge with Delmon Young and/or Elijah Dukes? I think some people automatically assume that a black man in cornrows is a bad person or troublemaker.

QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 7, 2011 -> 12:02 PM) You guys do any cooking? There was a show on last night; the guy made a coffee crusted Fillet Mignon with an ancho chile sauce. I made a brazilian black bean soup recently. Coffee and orange were two main ingredients.
  6. In bad weather you should bring a change of shoes. People have been walking in since the blizzard with tons of snow and salt on their shoes and continuing to go to the stretch areas and aerobics rooms. Nothing like sitting on the floor ready to stretch and winding up in a salty puddle of water.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 7, 2011 -> 10:22 AM) "Justified" starts back up this week! What a fantastic show.
  8. What about the idiots that will circle the parking lot for 30 minutes to get a close spot instead of walking an extra 30 yards? I feel like walking up to them as if I need to ask for directions or something and punching them in the nose. God forbid they burned 10 more calories.

    2011 TV Thread

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 7, 2011 -> 10:01 AM) Anyone else planning to watch The Chicago Code? If it was called The [insert any other city in the nation] Code, I would not be interested at all. But since it was filmed here and I actually had a small chat with the guy that plays the alderman when they were filming in front of my building, I'm gonna give it a go. Reviews have been guardedly optimistic. I plan on watching it since it's from Shawn Ryan (The Shield).
  10. X-rated posts is what this thread always comes back to.
  11. I think what this country needs is more movies based on comic books.
  12. This goes without saying but the total douchey Jersey Shore looking dudes that are there for 5 hours per day, everyday.
  13. Guys who decide to towel off at their locker instead of near the showers. I wind up coming back to change and have to stand in someone's nasty ass puddle.
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 6, 2011 -> 08:48 AM) I read No Country for Old Men and it was one of the hardest books to get through for me since I read the Scarlet Letter in my freshman year of high school. I picked up The Road, but when it started off in that same writing style, I just refused to put myself through it again...is the movie watchable? It's tough to get through but the book evoked more emotion out of me.
  15. Watched The Kids Are Alright last night. It was alright.

  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 5, 2011 -> 03:18 PM) When that phone plugs into my iPod stereo, alarm clock, and car input let me know, otherwise it's not even close to useable for me. GMAFB. Everything you've mentioned has versions that have Aux In/Line In that could support pretty much any device. You make it sound as if anyone with a non-iPhone can never listen to their device in a car or home stereo. And within the year most devices will most likely use wireless methods of connecting such as DNLA and right now you can via bluetooth.

  22. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 4, 2011 -> 03:59 PM) 1500 minutes, unlimited texts, "unlimited" data: $129.99 WHen you talk bang for your buck, Sprint is by far the best DEAL, but I can do ATT, Verizon for cheaper with less minutes and data. Do people really use a lot of actual voice minutes anymore?
