2010 Fall TV Thread
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 09:22 AM) Dee is looking hotter and hotter to me as each season/episode goes by. You're just attracted to pregnant chicks. FYI for those that don't know this: Dee and Mac are married in real life and she is really pregnant. Also Charlie and the waitress are either married or dating....i forget which.

2010 Fall TV Thread
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 12:24 AM) Always Sunny and The League were fantastic tonight. "How do I delete that from my Spank Bank?" lol. I thought that was one of the worst episodes of The League. Couple of good lines as usual but overall a terrible storyline.

Films Thread
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 10:56 PM) I really don't like watching movies with subtitles. I feel like all I do is look at the bottom of the screen. You should go get your G.E.D. and learn how to read.

Juan Uribe
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 04:20 PM) I'll be honest, I root for Uribe to succeed more than I did for Thome when they went elsewhere. Ditto. I love me some Uribe. Just hearing the guy get interviewed puts a smile on my face.

Technology catch-all thread
QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 04:01 PM) Not really worried about price for the device. most of em don't seem too bad if you're a new customer and unless everyone here tells me to stay with T-Mobile...I'll be a new customer. I have an old BB through work that is only for data. Then I have a fricken Razr as my phone. So I always have to carry around 2 devices. I finally got the approval to buy my own device and just have the firm reimburse me up to $50.00 for the data plan each month. Not sure if I should stay with BB or go with an Android based phone. Also I will probably get a family plan...so me and my wife can both get on something. Thanks for any help! You a pretty big guy? Reason I ask is that I have an EVO and it's a bigger smart phone but feels perfect in my large hands. And the phone is an absolute monster. 4G speeds are ridiculous. Android is highly customizable too if you're the kind of person that likes to tinker. It doesn't have a physical keyboard. I was worried about that coming from a BB but using swype blows away any smart phone physical keyboard.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 02:51 PM) Cambodia seems like a place that wouldn't have many 7'2" aliens. Did they put up border walls to keep illegals out?

I love the idea these guys are doing being able to completely customize your phone hardware. I wonder how well this will take off. http://synapse-phones.com/order.php

2010 World Series: Rangers vs. Giants
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 09:40 AM) Oh, and his ERA+ this year, even with a 3.75 ERA? 98. Why would you ever bother telling something like this to Greg? Like Ozzie, he just uses his gut to form his opinions.

Flaxx Does Galapagos
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 26, 2010 -> 10:50 PM) I did not. Is this an obtuse pop culture reference I'm not up on?? Heh sorry. You probably didn't hear the quote while you were gone. It was Glenn Beck, or maybe Christine O'Donnell, who said they didn't believe in evolution because they haven't seen a half man, half monkey. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 26, 2010 -> 10:50 PM) The national park service tightly regulates the number of annual visitors, but the truth is it 10x more heavily visited now than 25 years ago. Certainly, there is a concern about the potential impacts of visitors. That said, we touristas are only allowed access to a very small, well marked and well policed portion of the islands. Further, you must be accompanied by a trained naturalist and you have to be off most of the islands by sunset and are not allowed to overnight. The truth is that eco-tourists bring a HUGE amount of money to the islands and to Ecuador as a whole. A lot of that money goes to research, conservation, and education and that is not a revenue stream they want to do without so they will continue to try to do a balancing act. Thanks for the heads up.
