QUOTE (Texsox @ Jan 5, 2009 -> 08:58 AM) From the DVD folder, watched Dead Poets society and have proclaimed Robin Williams as the most underrated actor of our generation. He has talent but picks too many lame movies to work on.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 5, 2009 -> 08:44 AM) How about Jack Skellington playing Rourkes daughter? How did that work out? Not so bad. Was awkward when she would break out into song.

My thoughts on "The Wrestler" are pretty much in line with the comments people have made in here. Rourke nailed it but the movie itself was just a 'B'.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 2, 2009 -> 10:27 PM) I'm trying to remember if Pinto has more than 5 lines in the film. Nothing about her stood out. 'Cute' is a good word to describe her, not hot, not beautiful...just cute. http://www.freidapinto.com/ga9.html I'll have to disagree. She's pretty dang hot.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 23, 2008 -> 05:39 PM) The PS3 has MLB The Show, other than that it doesn't even matter that much to be honest. ^^^^ The new one comes out in March and sounds amazing.

Angels May Consider Trading For Dye or Paulie
QUOTE (scenario @ Dec 23, 2008 -> 02:06 PM) I predict that by the end of spring training, Jerry Owens will suffer another groin injury... creating an opportunity for BA to start the season in CF... and that Brian will perform well enough to keep the job. I just haven't seen anything from BA to make believe he will be a successful major league hitter. I believe half of the NL pitchers can hit better than him.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 07:00 PM) I don't blame you at all for going with those 2. The Broncos pass enough for them to each have good games. Hell, Cutler had 350+ yards. Who would have thought that he'd run for 2 TDs instead of passing for even 1? And we also get points for punt/kick-off return TDs so Royal always has that potential. IDP league.

10 Worst Predictions of 2008
QUOTE (mr_genius @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 04:42 PM) Bill Krystol has the amazing ability to be wrong, constantly. I honestly think they could pick some random person off the street and they'd guess things more accurately then that guy.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 03:48 PM) Not true if you have Fitzgerald and Boldin... or Fitzgerald and Breaston when Boldin was hurt, like I did. There are typically a couple WR pairs each season that are good choices to start each week. Think of Holt/Bruce, Wayne/Harrison, Moss/Welker, etc in years past. Unfortunately for me I was not stacked at WR this season so I was forced to go with Marshall/Royal. Figured they got me that far so why not?

Fantasy Football Championship help
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:14 AM) As a Brees owner whom he helped to a championship, I believe you should retract him from that comment. Brees had both the touchdowns you speak of and had a decent day. Didn't Marshall put up like 12 points with a 120+ yard effort? You should complain about being the dude who took LT when all signs pointed to bad this year. Also, AP had an off-day, but never, EVER start two WR from the same team. Sorry to see you lost though, but your team was destined for failure! Going against the worst team in football I expected a ridiculous game by Brees. It wasn't bad but I would have expected at least 3 TDs against the Lions. I traded for LT a week before his bye. My top pick was Peterson. Thought LT would be a nice #2 especially after getting some added rest with the bye. Didn't really pan out. And for all the hype Marshall was getting early on he really wasn't a scoring machine. Sure he had a nice game but my opponents players were all getting TDs yesterday while my guys were just racking up yardage.

Fantasy Football Championship help
The Saints, Broncos, Vikings, and Chargers cumulatively get 14 offensive TDs yesterday. So how many of those 14 TDs went to my supposed studs of Brees, LT, Adrian Peterson, Marshall, and Royal? 2!! Argh!! I hate fantasy football.
