  1. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:11 PM) I'd dig a new stadium for the sox with the either the Lake or the Skyline as a back drop i like the stadium we already have
  2. Fly, Robin Fly - Silver Convention never heard it
  3. oh yes, banning flag burning should be a high priority for our elected officials i think if you burn the american flag you're an idiot, but being an idiot is totally legal.
  4. wiat, how can this be possible! everyone knows the supreme court is composed president Bush's puppets! I mean they even stole an election for him! lol seriously though, this is a good decision
  5. QUOTE(bmags @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 07:17 PM) Erase Errata - horrible. Female punk has been done much better and by better lookin women. THEY HAVE A KNIIIFE 90 Day men - not a festival group but had some pretty impressive moments. But it was beautiful and sunny and i didn't feel like their dark s***. The Boredoms - I have a feeling not many people knew the boredoms before intonation. They are one of the only bands whose album i've picked up without ever hearing before and they blew me away. But this BLEW ME AWAAAAY, dig. (f**). Their stage set up was 3 drummers...and a keyboard. ANd they made those drums SING, oh!, my god it was f***ing magical...i'd never heard anything like this from them before... And the crowd was amazed. IN a park where its easy to ignore the acts...they wouldn't let you ignore them. Energy galore...and the most unique and awesome sound i've heard from them...Nobody topped them...nobody did it better. Erase Eratta has a couple of good cd's. i really like the one mastered by weasel walter (i think it has boxing grasshoppers on it). i saw them live and they totally couldn't play their instruments. good studio band, bad live band. oh, and it doesn't really matter what they look like. 90 day men definately aren't a festival group. i'm friends with some of those guys and i doubt the'll be playing again any time soon. only reason they played intonation was the money. the Boredoms are great. they've been around for a while and a lot of people know who they are.
  6. meh, i really don't care whats in the bible about this you guys do know that whole thing was just made up by some dudes right?
  7. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 25, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) from a financial standpoint, is this one of the worst teams in history? i'm sure it's a financial success for the Cubbune. still selling tickets, ect.
  8. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 12:51 AM) Anyone want to venture a guess if the Patriot Act/Wiretapping played a role in this? c'mon nuke. listening in on phone calls of the mafia is one thing. but listening in on those innocent, muslim freedom fighters? how dare you, you racist.
  9. wow, people are really freaking out over this just shows how overly sensitive our culture has become :puke
  10. ah, of course delete my repetitive s***
  11. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,200677,00.html gets a little closer to home now, right
  12. QUOTE(shoota @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:05 PM) Note to Jermaine Dye: You're less likely to get hurt when you don't misread fly balls. :finger
  13. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 05:08 PM) Sensitivity training? I had to take anger management classes and they didn't do me any f***ing good. lol a company i worked at decided to have all employees get sensitivity training (just to cover their own ass if someone ever wanted to sue). it was hilarious, best class i've ever taken. i think it was supposed to be serious though... i guess i didn't learn anyting cause i'm not very sensitive.

  15. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 02:02 AM) Did I ever tell you about the time that the 2010 KC Royals had huuge drops in talent? :banghead

  17. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 12:37 AM) Um, nice try, but a D+ on the joke. i thought it was pretty good B-
  18. QUOTE(holly wiggins @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 09:40 PM) The pitiful performance is because the players have lost respect for their manager.
  19. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 06:12 PM) he's putting himself on a track to let his mouth show his manager's ass the door. why, because he said something that offended you? he already admitted it was a mistake. so what, he said a 'bad' word. he's not an investment banker or public relations manager, he's a baseball manager.
  20. wow, so many people are way too sensitive i don't even think this is a big deal
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 08:12 AM) Just because people do something doesn't make it right. People held slaves 200 years ago, it was a common practice, that doesn't mean it was right. When you are talking about degrading a class of people, for no other reason than because of who they are, its wrong. silly name calling and forced slave labor are completely different situations QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 09:40 AM) Ozzie has control of his clubhouse. I don't care what he says. I'm insensitive, so sue me. ^^^
  22. QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) Hm.. The Edmonds-Pujols fan guy left the thread.
  23. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 07:24 PM) and will face Clemens. they'll probably light him up like Garcia lights up a victory doobie.
