  3. Can we just fire them and get this over with?
  4. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 11, 2012 -> 11:42 AM) If you trust the self-reported out-of-school hours, which I doubt most people in here do. ^^^
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 10, 2012 -> 01:52 PM) Does anyone have a reference for the "the average teacher in chicago makes $74k" number? I'm going through the BLS tables, it's a nightmare to figure out, but they list something like 200k teachers in the chicago area and show an average teacher salary of $56k, with a wide distribution depending on specialty. The trib is reporting they average lik 76k or something, more than twice as much as the average pay of the people the teachers want to raise taxes on . Oh and the rest of us don't get 4 months vacation.
  6. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 10, 2012 -> 08:14 AM) Pay them whatever the want. Start em at 100k a year. Most important and most difficult job in the universe. They should be getting millions per year jerk

  9. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 12:14 AM) Madden 94 for the Sega Genesis had them. yea i remember that. it was cool, even though the players didn't have names or right numbers (if i remember correctly)
  10. i wish madden would have superbowl teams, like NB2AK did. using the 85 Bears would be sweet.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 11:41 PM) Are you guys mindless? Start a coach career and its the same as franchise, but way more in depth and fun. Coach career = old franchise. no full team draft though. unless i can't find it. that was the first thing i tried to do haha. i'll have to see how coach mode goes before i can judge. just beat the Colts.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 10:48 AM) Madden is one of the few games I've ever seen have a one-star review status on amazon. People simply hate not having the franchise mode. I wish I would have seen this post before I got the game. Franchise mode is indeed f***ed up now.
  13. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 07:41 PM) Seriously? holy s***, I meant to upload that to Facebook, not Soxtalk. No idea why the f*** I did that on Soxtalk for. BAHAHAHA haha
  14. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 7, 2012 -> 09:58 AM) You mean exactly like how Obama's entire job council does/has done? Even HuffPo wrote about this nonsense: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/12/o..._n_1666443.html This is why I don't get it when Democrats ride Romney as a job exporter, when the guy they have an office now appointed an ENTIRE fleet of job exporters for the job of "saving American jobs". ^^^
  15. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:46 PM) I don't think you realize the portion of Americans that vote based solely on social issues...it's a staggering amount oh plenty of people do. but your 'win' issue will not win Obama anything. Draw, at best. If you look at any polls showing the order of issues, ranked by relevance to voters, social issues are down big time.
  16. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 11:54 AM) I, for one, do not care at all about prison rape. a distinguished voice of reason has finally entered the thread. well done Milkman delivers.
  17. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:31 PM) Don't know how to embed youtube videos, mods feel free to edit this post to embed Short of giving a different answer, I thought Mitt handled it as well as he could. Still goes to show you how important this issue is. I know the typical response is "this shouldn't be a top campaign issue" ... but if as much as 5-10% of the population is being shorted part of their rights as citizens (or at least, much of the USA perceives it as such), this IS a big deal. Things like this conversation will keep happening and it will hurt Mitt. the issue is not going to effect the election. maybe in your mind it will, but overall it means nothing compared other issues. non-factor basically.
  18. Romney losing ground. Continues with his s***ty campaign strategy. http://www.gallup.com/poll/150743/Obama-Romney.aspx
