QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 11:40 AM) Oh my f***ing god, this online test for Cook County to "avoid conviction" for my whopping 73/55 is ridiculous. It times out the "continue" button regardless of how quickly you can read. I'm stuck here waiting 30 seconds to a minute beyond when I'm done reading. I just got a 100% on the "assessment", but apparently that's not good enough to skip this. Stupid Cook County. I might actually stop speeding this thing is taking so long (I did take a one hour lunch break, but I'm still not done waiting and waiting).

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 03:26 PM) Cant wait to see what my gym looks like today. Should be packed for a least 3 weeks until the luster of working out wears off and they go back to TV, pizza and the couch. My gym had already quieted down this morning, interestingly enough. It's harder for these loafs to go in when they have to work, too!! Oh no! Pizza is easier!

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 02:16 PM) Gay sex is risky because you could get AIDS. IMO the government should ban gay sex, or at least force people to wear condoms. I fully feel that this is at best a suspendable post and at worst a bannable post. What year is this, 1991? I don't care if you're trying to be funny, or if you're just the dumbest f*** on the planet, but are you aware that people other than gay men get AIDS? Seriously, you are detestable.

Hello, bluray quality screener of Django. I know what I'm watching at the gym tomorrow am.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 12:34 PM) For those that watch Justified - is it ok to jump in last season? My wife and I watched 3/4th's of season 1 and then moved and lost the remaining episodes on our DVR. Then we ended up skipping season 2, hoping they'd be on Netflix streaming (still not). I taped every episode from last season though. Would we be missing a ton starting with last season? I've been on board since day 1, but my wife jumped in start of last season and really enjoyed it and only had a few questions. I think you'd be ok, but I highly recommend the final like 5 episodes of season 1 and season 2 someday. Great tv. Last season blew the first two away, though.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 11:36 AM) I was a little upset that Tom wasn't around for the 2nd hour last night. I was hoping he and cybil (?) would be back in Downton permanently this season. He adds some much needed spark. Also, I don't see why Mary being a c*** needed to be blacked out - she's such a b****. Thankfully, she's finally married. And yes, Tom is awesome. His drunken rant was crazy, though, and I'm glad the cripple saw that he was drugged. I wonder how long we'll have to wait until Matthew decides to in fact save Downton?

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 10:10 AM) BS is right...I'd have to be carted off to jail for multiple murders, because if that I was daughter, none of those f***ers would be alive to be laughing about it like it's a big f***ing joke. It wouldn't even be a choice, it's just be something I had to do. Everyone says things like this - like they are more man than the real father of that daughter. He has responsibilities, he has to take care of his daughter for a long time still, he has a grieving wife. Statements like the above are so stupid given how you portray yourself as a bigger man than the real person dealing with these issues. If I were in the situation, I would be sick with rage until the day I died. I'd want justice - but you can never find true justice in a situation like this. He has to provide for his already hurt daughter. He has to be there for her. Not in a prison cell.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jan 7, 2013 -> 09:42 AM) If the increase is from criminals being shot I am all for it. Well that sure is a big "if".

Cody Saltsman sent many messages to people stating that “nobody breaks up with Cody Saltsman, Ill ruin that b****”. This was a month before the rape. A few weeks later, Saltsman’s best friend – Trent Mays started texting the victim asking her for a date and pretending to like her and telling her over and over that everyone likes her and not to worry about Cody. He finally convinced her to let him meet her at her friends house and she remembers nothing past that point. A close personal friend of the victim received pics from her at 9:30 pm, and she was smiling and happy and with her group of girlfriends. An hour later she was unconscious and being viciously gang raped. This was a vicious, pre-meditated, vengeful gang rape, and only two of these animals have even been charted (as juveniles) with rape.

This piece of s*** isn't even charged with anything.

These people are sub-human. Something as disgusting as drugging, raping (what seems to be countless times), and having such disregard for another person should immediately be met with the electric chair.

"Promised Land" was alright.

QUOTE (SnB @ Jan 5, 2013 -> 08:41 PM) How are the controls? I saw it in the App Store and was certainly curious. I'll expand on what I posted. They WORK. I don't even think twice about them anymore. I enjoyed blowing up some baddies with an ice cream truck yesterday - I forgot how FUN GTA 3 was, given how kinda unfun GTA IV was on ps3. I hear they are bringing back the comedy for 5.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 6, 2013 -> 01:13 PM) Watched the first Downton Abbey last night. Color me impressed. #instantlyhooked Welcome to obsession.

Season 3 premiere of Downton Abbey was great last night. If you aren't watching this show, season 1 is on Netflix and seasons 1 and 2 are on Amazon. It's so good.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jan 6, 2013 -> 10:50 PM) My emotions today went from a kid on xmas, to extremely pissed off, to a state of confusion - this is what we want, our sport back and our games back, but I didn't know how to feel about letting myself get into it, and figuring out how exactly I will do that. Combining emotion 1 with emotion 2 put me in a weird spot for the day. This is how I've felt since hearing the news. Then I thought of the glorious Indianhead sweater and the fact that I lived through the worst of the Bill Wirtz era, so now that we have an owner who cares I'm just going to jump back in with both feet and enjoy it. Now, a goalie please. -
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jan 5, 2013 -> 06:56 AM) Let's hope they don't get hacked. Developers are losing millions to the used game market. With growing development costs, the incentive to create truly unique, epic game experiences is shrinking. Companies are simply afraid to take big risks, look at how many games have become serialized and how some series have even become annualized. If something sells the first go around, the big companies will pump out sequel after sequel with minimal improvement, look at the Assassin's Creed series after AC II. Sure, we have independent studios making some great stuff and I'm all for that. But I also want to play the next Bioshock, the next Dishonered, the next truly original, epic game with big-time production values. This isn't the music industry, vidieo game companies don't have the equivalent of concerts to fall back on. They need huge game sales to continue making new AAA games. Ending used game sales, at least for next-gen systems, would be a huge step in the right direction. Great post. I've never minded buying new games I'm excited about - and I happily fork over a brand new $60 for NBA 2k every year because that franchise makes noticeable, amazing improvements every year. Then I sell that s*** on eBay. Heh.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 5, 2013 -> 08:09 AM) Didn't Lebron go like the entire month of December or something ridiculous like that without a foul called on him? QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Jan 5, 2013 -> 09:08 AM) I think it was 5 or 6 games but still ridiculous. I can see why after last night tho. He mugs people and they just won't call a foul. As Bulls fans, we can't really complain.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 4, 2013 -> 10:57 PM) I realize he had the bad turnover but he did a really nice job running the offense and playing defense tonight. Very solid game (8 assists, good ball movement, solid defense). One really bad turnover late though (along with what turned out to be a bad foul). Kirk was pretty brutal. The announcers can see he's working hard (no one doubts this) so they overrate his contributions to the game. He looks gimpy out there, and always dribbles down the shot clock and backs the Bulls into too many tough situations. Last night they played over it. He'll be an adequate 4th guard come #TheReturn, I guess.

Boozer is possessed, Nate just nailed an awesome 3.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 4, 2013 -> 03:48 PM) Does it plug into my ipod docks in my car and house? No. Then not interested. You too iphone 5. This is why you don't lock yourself into such docks. USB is way more universal. But that's just painfully obvious.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jan 4, 2013 -> 02:10 PM) Career Win% Jeff George .371 Jay Cutler .548 Career Completion% Jeff George 57.9 Jay Cutler 60.8 Career Rating Jeff George 80.4 Jay Cutler 84.0 Jay Cutler >> Jeff George Even though Cuter was the 11th pick and George the first. Given the fact that Jeff George is known universally as a career failure and the fact that those numbers aren't exactly super-duper far apart is terrifying.
