  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 18, 2012 -> 09:55 AM) A "ref" told LeSean McCoy, "Come on, I need you for my fantasy team" Yeah, it's time for replacement refs to be a thing of the past. Last night's game was f***ing brutal.
  2. This probably could have been a simple post in the NFL thread, which seems to be of less use each day.
  3. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 18, 2012 -> 09:24 AM) Especially since he's made it clear that his primary goal in doing this is to get under people skins and to be a troll. Yeah, while basically calling everyone who owns an Apple product a mindless follower that pisses him off and doesn't even know how to use their "overpriced" product, regardless if the iPhone 5 will start at $199 or not!
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 09:44 PM) Your beef should be w/ the people writing the satirical articles then, not the person who posts them. I didn't write those hilarious pieces. Bottom line, it's not going to end, so may as well just give up now. http://www.theonion.com/articles/apple-cla...-term-pod,8230/ To be fair, if greg can be warned by Jason for beating a dead horse, I'm sure you can be warned for beating a dead horse.

Interviewing is so nuts. I have a 4.5 hour one this week meeting with multiple people, one over lunch. I know I can be abrasive sometimes, but I love you all. Throw some love my way, because this one would be awesome.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 05:07 PM) The odds of them going undefeated were only 500-1? It was numbers.
  7. QUOTE (Joxer_Daly @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 04:33 PM) So, did they wear green for six months to St. Patrick's Day? I was told the Sox do that, or was that just an exaggeration?
  8. QUOTE (danman31 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 04:30 PM) The Tigers have a nice schedule to close (6 against Minny, 7 against KC), but the Sox just have to go, say, 9-7 to close to put a ton of pressure on the Tigers. 9-7 by the Sox means the Tigers have to go a scorching 12-4 just to force a playoff. Barring a collapse, the Sox shouldn't need to do anything spectacular. There's the kiss of death.
  9. I just can't believe the Packers lost their first game. I had a grand down that they'd go undefeated. They cost me $500,000! I WAS SO CLOSE.
  10. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) You lost a survivor's pool in week 2, it's pretty silly to talk about POTENTIALLY winning it. I'm actually without words as to the level of "silly" it is to say a kicker cost you $5500 when you lose a survivor pool in week 2.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) I just got off of a call and missed it. Exact same thing happened to me.
  12. The Tigers have had a lot of luck against us, and very little luck against other teams. Somehow, we keep scalding balls right to their fielders with no range.
  13. That sounds like Peralta needs to be kicked.
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:25 PM) No one except you would ever call be a rah rah guy. But I do enjoy first place. Sorry you don't. I don't like imploding against a team consistently. If they're .500 against the Tigers the division is already wrapped up. That being said, now the game's tied and I'm happy again.
  15. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:23 PM) Steve, Viciedo would have been out at 3rd, and out at home. He would have run through a stop sign from McEwing and everyone would be screaming that he took the bat out of the hands of YOUK, Dunn and Konerko. He had a great jump from 2nd and Joe still stopped him right away. I'm at work and listening and DJ and Farmio both said he should have gone both times. DV just somehow took a walk.
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 02:22 PM) You complain every game, every sport. A thread title includes you complaining about fantasy leagues. I don't know why one would continue to watch sports if it pisses you off so much. Do something that makes you happy. Technically, the thread title was created because I was sick of reading about other people whining about their fantasy leagues. Somehow, I am not shocked that you are clueless, though. When my team wins, I'm happy, when my team loses, I'm not. OH MY GOD AWFUL FAN I SHOULD JUST RAH RAH 24/7!
