  1. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:56 AM) I'm fairly sure all three of these guys are immediately top 10 prospects for the Sox. Oh yeah.
  2. Max Payne 3 was an absolute blast to play.
  3. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:27 AM) "Paul, you mind if I bring this 6-pack with me? Cool. Oh, you have a toliet in your kitchen? This is the bathroom? Why is there a fridge...oh, wait. Nice." Like
  4. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 09:50 PM) Hawkins' Backflip Well, I love this kid already.
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:58 AM) I'm not expecting much from this series. Get a win, and sweep Houston and we'll call it a good week. You sir, are a nonbeliever. Anyway, tonight will be fun. This whole damn series will be fun. The Blue Jays have a really good offense, but so do we. We've had no problem tagging other teams' aces, and tonight will be no different, especially with Romero's control problems to start the season. Be patient. Just win. Sox roll 7-3. Paulie goes yard, Slayer wakes up against lefties.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:08 AM) Dont forget Slayer, Kaner and DRose live in the same building. There must just be a full-time p**** train rolling through there.
  7. Ozzie should be running away with this, despite not being our manager anymore. You'd hear some hilarious s***.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 09:01 AM) Here you go. Bump.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:58 AM) I would want Bosh. I would not want Wade. Heat still have a good shot though. They should be able to beat Boston and will be a different team by the time they play the Thunder. They are missing there 3rd best player and while Bosh isn't a superstar, he's still one of the best 4's in this league and makes them a completely better team. I didn't post that with the hopes of the Bulls getting one of them - I just meant it'd be interesting for the league. And yeah, it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out - I expect the Heat to play better tonight, but they are truly lucky to not be down 1-3.
  10. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:44 AM) I'll go this far, if the Bulls were able to replace Boozer with Harden (not at the 4, obviously, but given their existing depth down low), they would be my favorite to win the championship next year (as long as Rose is at 85%). Harden would be a great fit on the Bulls and him and Deng could play together along with Rose. Oh, well, yeah, there's no doubt about that (again assuming health). A healthy Bulls team could have made the NBA Finals this year with the corpse of Rip Hamilton. If they had James Harden they'd crush the entire league, and then I would immediately not believe that James Harden is a douche. They just need some semblance of a 2 guard and some semblance of health at some point. Totally off-topic, but what do the Heat do if they don't win the Championship this year? Many are speculating that one of the big 3 would move, most likely Bosh, but quite possibly Wade. That would be interesting.
  11. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:52 AM) I often regret not sticking with my original plan to major in architecture. Art Vandalay!

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:23 AM) But hey, that will never compete with this: Ha!
  13. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:33 AM) Agree with all of this post. In fact, I think I liked it better than Avengers, in terms of overall experience. That's high praise!
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:37 AM) I don't think he's a douche, but I also love the beard (and purely based on that could never hate on him) and I did say he isn't going to be a #1 on a championship team. He can start on a championship team though and I didn't feel that was ever the case with Gordon. Gordon had too many issues (undersized + poor defensively) which Harden doesn't have. So while both were pretty efficient scorers (Harden is still far more efficient though, can get points in the paint and outside and doesn't need as many shots to be effective) in their time, one is not a complete liability on the other side of the court. These points are noted, for sure. Harden is clearly larger than Ben, but he's also going to get a larger contract. It was the first comparison that came to mind, and it doesn't disprove the fact that he will be paid to be a 1 and whatever team does it is going to be screwed. And he is also a douche, and he gets away with being a douche for reasons unknown. I guess simply because the Thunder are 2012's America's Team. At least people are finally realizing how awesome Serge Ibaka is!
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:20 AM) Please don't compare Harden with Gordon. Harden is a very very efficient scorer. The guy is a very good player. Star, no, but he's significantly better then Ben Gordon. And he's came up big when the Thunder needed him. Ben Gordon was just as good as James Harden in the 6th man role. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/gordobe01.html Look at those stats. Gordon was draining 3s over 40% year after year. In his third year he had a PER of 18.2. It's actually not that far off, and I don't think Harden will be a quality first option which he's absolutely going to be paid as by a bottom feeder. And he's still a douche. None of which you countered with your post.
  16. That shot by Harden was so irresponsible, at the bar it got a collective "WHAT ARE YOU DO... WOW!" It's going to be funny when some bottom feeder signs Harden to a ridiculous offer sheet to be their primary scorer and he turns into Ben Gordon. James Harden is a quality scorer in the NBA, but his newfound "celebrity", for lack of a better word with his increased role, 6th man award, and exposure, is clearly going to his head. He's taking far more bad shots, and I don't know why it's taking everyone so long to start thinking the guys a big piece of s***. I mean, if Dwyane Wade did half of what Harden does, with the stare downs, the stupid looks, the hand signals, he would be crucified on this board.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:41 AM) Most dogs are a bit more intelligent than people give them credit for. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:08 AM) He occasionally starts licking/gnawing on his paw or leg, but he usually stops before he does serious damage, maybe just some fur comes off. (It's not that often, so I don't thinnk it's allergies) This time he just went to town, and took off the fur and skin, and it just became a nasty open wound.
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 12:07 AM) While I agree with Joe, damn he's mad. And I mainly hate Apple because I had to drop money on a MacBook at Mizzou (required for Journalism school). It's basically been a $2000+ GarageBand for me. It does nothing my PC can't do aside from GarageBand for me. Wow, requiring a MacBook for journalism school should be a crime since most who graduate won't recoup that cost.

    My goodness,Mad Men was brilliant.
  20. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 04:18 PM) Because Lebron doesn't have the mental make-up to take over games like Durant just did and it's being proven over and over again. Durant scored 18 pts in the fourth despite everything the Spurs did. Lebron would never do that. He'd choose to let someone else try and win the game. Would you rather have Lebron or Durant with the ball needing a bucket to win a game? I'm going with Durant. Your feelings on LeBron are quite bogus.
  21. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 04:23 PM) Oh I see what you're saying. I guess since I just call it "video games", I never really thought about it. I just say "Hey, want to come over any play video games?" not "Hey, come play my PS3". I would say since I probably don't hear that one enough, I haven't noticed it enough to be bothered by it. Or possibly because it's something you like so it doesn't bother you? You don't get into iPhones, BMWs, Northfaces, Coach purses, etc, but it's ok for others to enjoy those products.
  22. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 04:11 PM) I will only refer to Beckham as the Slayer from here on out. He's got his mojo back and deserves it. That's what I decided just this morning. Odd that you post it.
  23. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 04:15 PM) I don't see any problem with that, why would I? If you are playing an Xbox, and say "We are playing playstation right now", then yeah, I would think you are an idiot. But why would calling something by it's correct name be wrong? It sounds like you would have a problem with anyone who didn't say, "I am going to play with my video game system." Hence the problem with someone saying "where is my iPhone?" instead of "where is my cell phone?" There is zero difference there.
  24. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 3, 2012 -> 10:23 AM) I have not seen the Sox mentioned as being in on Soler. Here's a picture recently posted of Kenny Williams.
