QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 2, 2010 -> 10:20 AM) Ugh, I cannot f***ing stand him. Especially with his holier than thou attitude, get off your high horse son. I think you might just be projecting the "holier than thou" upon him given his reputation. He's paid to give his opinion, and it's normally insightful and accurate.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 11:01 PM) Totally agree. I think he is one of the few who really meant it when he retired. Good for him. He's entertaining on NBC, too.

I hate injuries.

Not much more can be said about the state of the Bulls right now. With a competent coach and Derrick Rose "arriving", the sky is the limit for this roster offensively. It will take Boozer awhile to get back in playing shape, but I can only imagine how he and Noah will be next to one another... it's the perfect pairing.

That took a long time. According to the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are "unlikely" to make a run at Randy Moss on waivers. Maybe if Moss could pass protect. According to the Tribune's Dan Pompei, the Bears "like their top receivers" and "don't need to bring in a troublemaker at midseason."

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 02:09 PM) He's going back to the Patriots. I'd bet on that. I thought the same thing. The Bears still have 3 games (2 vikings, 1 patriots) against Moss teams. That intel alone is worth the claim.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 02:02 PM) Ha that's just hilarious. Be interesting to see if anyone takes the chance with him. You'd be nuts not to... it's not his fault Brett Favre can't throw. Moss is STILL an elite talent. Honestly, Jay Cutler should be texting JA right now demanding that Moss be signed and featured in Mike Martz' offense. It's not like Martz uses receivers to block ever.

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that the Vikings have waived Randy Moss. I'm sure he'll re-sign with the Pats after his profession of love for them, and I won't even say the Bears should get him because he can't block.

QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 11:18 AM) You obviously haven't been watching the games to say that Asik should be starting over Taj Gibson.......of all the players so far in the two games, I've been most impressed with his improvement........ Taj is legit. Actually, what we're seeing here is the definitive reason that Carmelo Anthony should wind up on the Bulls, and that the Bulls' front office is so smart to hold out and wait for their price to drop to not including Noah... Taj/Deng/JJ some pick s***, there's enough in there that will eventually get the deal done. Then you are looking at: Rose Bogans/KK/Watson Melo Boozer Noah And you are talking about a legit championship chance the next 4-5 years no matter who you cycle in and out of that SG position.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 31, 2010 -> 07:49 PM) Sounds like only stitches. Incredible, since he was carted off the field laying the fetal position looking practically dead.

Derrick Rose has arrived, btw.

QUOTE (Felix @ Oct 31, 2010 -> 09:33 PM) The Walking Dead This is, honestly, the strongest debut of a show that I can remember. The scenes make it look even better. I cannot wait for next week, and this has already become my most-highly anticipated program.

Jackass 3D was indeed hilarious.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 04:01 PM) Deep down, I'd probably have gotten tired of that Bulls lineup really quick. Get the f*** out of here.

The parallels between 2005 Sox and 2010 Giants continue to grow. link I love/hate this.

'Arthur' remake looks promising. Yes, Batman has a flask.

QUOTE (onedude @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 05:47 PM) PS3 is looking like it's going to go out on me any day now. It shuts off automatically at random times....then I get the blinking red light when it is off. Not looking good. Does anyone know if there is a chance I can back-up my saves to a hard drive? Will there be enough time before it cuts out? Do you have good ventilation around the PS3? Does the fan run a lot when you play? This could be as simple as the system overheating. If it's in an open area, you could pop the cover off and use and air duster. I'd pull that bad boy out of whatever crevice it is in, give it a nice cleaning, and start using it in a more open location. Is it an original-model PS3 or a PS3 Slim?

QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 12:27 AM) I want to see what the consensus is with this. Last night I met a chick. She showed interest (caught her looking at me a few times before we talked, smiling at me frequently, when we actually met she asked me a bunch of questions, etc). We talked for a little while. Then she kinda just leaves and we only talk a little bit after that. I took that as her interest in me went down and that was that. I didn't ask her for her number. I thought I did the right thing by not pursuing her further and didn’t really second guess myself after because of the way she left, but a friend told me I should've asked for her number because she was interested and that guys have to make the move. I didn't because lately I've been thinking if a girl wants to see me again she will continue talking to me and give me some sort of an opening to ask her for her number. Her leaving sort of abruptly made me think she didn’t want to see me again so I didn't ask. So, was I right for not pursuing her or do you think my friend was right and I should’ve? I’ll keep the responses in mind for future reference… If you like the chick, ask for her number. It's pretty cut and dry. Why should she make the first move? It goes both ways.

Did anyone else catch Chris Broussard on pre-game yesterday say that Andre Iguodala wants out of Philly and that the Bulls and Sixers have had discussions about a Deng/Iggy swap?

I find it funny that Vinny Del Negro has been put in charge of two of the last three first overall picks.
