  1. Gilbert Arenas says he faked knee soreness so that Nick Young could get a chance to start in Tuesday's preseason game. Arenas can't help but get himself involved in drama. After the game, he said his left knee was perfectly fine and said he would play against he Bucks on Thursday. "I told [Young] I'd sacrifice playing tonight so he can get some time in because I know he's kind of frustrated he's not getting a chance to crack the three position. ... "So I told him, 'I'll go ahead, fake an injury or say something's wrong with me so you can start.'" We'll see if the organization comes down on Arenas with any discipline for lying to his coach. His quirky behavior is part of the big risk you take on fantasy draft day with Arenas. What a piece of s***.
  2. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 12:12 PM) Agreed, and I was laughing at the AD remarks when telling David Cross to stop saying "C'mon!" I've enjoyed a few of those. David Cross in Alaska "freezing my Blue Man Group off"... and the narration of Wilde "making a huge mistake". The references aside, the show is really hitting it's pace and cracking me up.
  3. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 11, 2010 -> 03:33 PM) Another great episode. It's clear though that girl is going to leave KW for the owner. Heh. Kenny Williams is everywhere.
  4. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 12:05 PM) Anyone catch "Pretend Time"? I missed it and wondered if it was worth checking out. When I finished watching "Running Wilde" on DVR last night, the channel was on Comedy Central and I saw the first skit. I'd probably have laughed if I was 14 again, but it was really dumb and I was actually angered at myself for sitting through "Wheelchair Cat". To bring this post full-circle, the last two episodes of "Running Wilde" have been hilarious. Mostly because they've left the mansion and entered the corporate environment where Will Arnett is at his best.
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 10:28 AM) Wow, we are so far apart. I hardly laughed at it, and you thought it was possibly the best episode ever. I thought it was pretty damn good too. Certainly not in "best ever" category but quite enjoyable.
  6. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 13, 2010 -> 11:11 AM) I guess Crawford is getting the start again tonight That was unfortunately quick.

  8. QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 10:51 AM) Finley possibly done for the year after knee surgery, TERRIFIC, at least Quarless has some potential and looked good Sunday. And I'm 100% sure Ted Thompson will do nothing about the 15 something injuries on our roster, we have depth but with how this season is shaping up they will just get injured. I thought Finley was 3 weeks after arthroscopic surgery?
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 09:12 AM) pretty much everyone is saying that Casserlys report is bulls*** ok, let's address the important point regardless. Moss >>>>>>>> 4th > Branch
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 12, 2010 -> 09:41 AM) He may get a bonus for doing it to Avery. Ha! I thought the same thing!
  11. Marian Hossa is on a God damn mission. He legitimately looks like a top 5 player in the game right now after actually having an offseason without rehab. That Hjalmarsson game misconduct was bulls***. In the end, Crawford looks like a serviceable backup, and that was a nice win to take us to 1-1-1.
  12. So let me get this straight. The "genius" Pats trade Randy f***ing Moss for a 4th rounder, then trade a 4th rounder for Deion Branch? BRILLIANT! All because he said Tommy Boy's hair looked like a woman's.
  13. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Oct 9, 2010 -> 10:31 PM) Uh now seriously i think these season tickets will soon be worth as much as printer paper I'll buy some games off you.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 8, 2010 -> 10:00 AM) I do absolutely stunning impersonations of Chris Cornell and Kurt Cobain.
  15. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Oct 8, 2010 -> 12:46 PM) Methinks it's going to be a rough start (by current Stanley Cup champion standards) for the 'hawks. Turco is going to have to get used to a new group of d-men. Add to that, the core of d-men is missing a big piece right now in Campbell. And there are a couple of lines that have to get used to playing with each other, but by mid-November, beginning of December, I think this team will start clicking. Methinks the Hawks looked pretty similar to last year, and will be fine out of the gate. We lost our first game, a road game, in overtime... and looked decent enough doing it. Add to this our top line didn't even show up. I expect to dominate immediately!
  16. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 8, 2010 -> 02:26 PM) I wish I could use the "That's Right Brian Paruch" soundbite everywhere I go, cracks me up everytime THAT'S RIGHT LITTLE HURT ZERO FIVE
  17. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Oct 8, 2010 -> 01:11 PM) Some of you guys are really screwing up the brackets. If they win 50-something games and take the 4/5 seed (which seems to be the consensus), they'd get the #1 seed (the Heat by pretty much everyone's estimation) in the second round. So a lot of you are wrong on the playoff predictions by default. It's moments like these when I wish I could use Boers & Bernstein's "Who cares?" soundbite on a message board.
  18. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Oct 8, 2010 -> 10:31 AM) Am I completely off but wasnt there supposed to be a prospect up with the Bhawks named Kyle Beach or something similar to that? He not make the team? He did not make the team, but he'll be on the roster soon enough.
  19. Miami wins 63 games, wins the East, loses to Lakers. Kobe seems more awesome than ever. Bulls win 52 games, finish 5th in the East, get past the 1st round and lose to the Magic.
  20. I greatly dislike Patrick Sharp on the point for the power play. He should be on the 2nd PP unit with Hossa tearing s*** up.
  21. QUOTE (Real @ Oct 7, 2010 -> 10:40 PM) Bad game all around for chicago NOT OVER YET!!!!!
