QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 01:08 PM) David Cross might be a out of left field pick for The Riddler. I like it.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 01:19 PM) Which is scary, cause of Cutler already was concussed and then suffered that blow from Aaron Ross, there is a lot of damage that could have been done. Unfortunately, this makes way more sense, too.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 11:45 AM) I love me some Fincher. Using Trent Reznor for the music was awesome as well.

Hub on 670 just said he's fairly confident we'll be seeing Caleb Haney's first NFL start on Sunday. F*ck.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 10:55 AM) You might be the dumbest poster in the history of posters during any given game thread. Your comments are absolutely ridiculous. Seriously, Todd Collins is the biggest piece of s*** ever and your ignorance in not understanding the impacts of 9 sacks in a game is absolutely ridiculous. I have a feeling this one violates a few Soxtalk rules!

QUOTE (kev211 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 12:30 AM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HHNo-Ki4A4 yep, cant wait What on Earth does this mean? Do they have all the Championship rosters? Do we get to play entire Finals' series against actual classic teams??? I need ANSWERS!

The Social Network was fantastic. My only complaint is the abrupt ending, but it's quite the enjoyable film.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 08:57 AM) Were you genuinely expecting Boozer to play >70 games a season on average? No, not at all. Starting out with best-case scenario of 67 games played means he'll probably play less than 50. It just seemed like Jeremy was saying 15 games as if it were no biggie.

The Campbell news saddens me.
-
Well, this makes him more tradeable!
-
QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 02:56 PM) 8 weeks starting from right now is only 15 regular season games. That's a lot of games.

The world's most inept QB leaves the game!

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 30, 2010 -> 03:01 PM) His manager is quite simply a moron. His booting of World Wide Wes was the dumbest move of all-time.

Yup. I despise LeBron James now.

The Miami Heat have yet to sell out a single home game. What a joke that they get such an awesome team.

No surprise, NHL 11 is awesome. One complaint I have had in recent years is their blatant disregard of accurate rosters. They also have yet to release a roster update. Luckily, I found a site that does caps and updated rosters with minors, so I can actually go really deep with a Hawks franchise and get my Kyle Beach action on.

It saddens me to say this, as "Running Wilde" was the show I most looked forward to in the new season, but it might be one of the worst shows ever put together. It is just not funny. Damn.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 05:32 PM) Has anyone come up with the numbers if Tallon didn't forget to send paperwork out on time and everyone got signed to a tender offer? How much better would the Hawks salary situation be right now? Well, more likely Steeger and maybe Barker would be here as they were paid more than triple their tender offers. However, they'd also possibly be looking at raises this offseason, so I'm unsure what the lasting effect would have been.

Perhaps he's going to announce his pending retirement.

QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 03:57 PM) but I highly doubt the Wild would had turned down the offer if it was made in the summer with Johnsson leaving in FA (who also made more than Cam in salary too at the time of the deal) and it pretty much is Leddy for Barker now. The offer was on the table, Barker was making more than his value to the Hawks. Sometimes you take a good offer. No one really knows what happened with Johnsson, but at the time of the trade, he was a better defenseman in my opinion as well. No bother, Hawks win! And that was one less trade they had to make this offseason!

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) I will say Lovie at least has some balls this season. He's coaching like a man who knows his job is on the line. I love it.
-
QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 03:24 PM) It is more bulls*** that Barker wasn't on it (he was traded much earlier) more-so than Johnsson who barely played. Nick Leddy is the only one who is not making that trade look awful thankfully. Feel bad for Cam. I'm also glad to see the guy who built the team (and should get more recognition) get what he deserves in Dale Tallon. Cam Barker was traded due to his contract, not his ability to play hockey. He was the first casualty of the great salary cap f***up for which Mr. "Needs more recognition" Tallon is responsible.

In response to whomever said the first episode of EB&D was slow, I'd have to disagree. I thought it rocked.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 12:03 PM) Ummm, Martz has more to do with parts 2 and 3. Shhhhhhhh! Reality does not fit the narrative.

My open response to Packer fans: The Packers were the most penalized team in the league last year, and are off to an awesome start again this year. They take penalties instead of letting players on the other side beat them. That's part of their gameplan. You can't blame penalties on the loss, and you certainly can't say they would have won without them. The Bears would have completed those passes (save that last one) or gotten to the quarterback without the penalties. When penalties are part of your gameplan, you cant use them as an excuse.
