QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 09:52 AM) Why not both? Hal Holbrook is way too good of an actor to waste him on 3 episodes with a total screen time of about 15 minutes. Gemma hinted at a possible retirement home in last night's episode. Old Hal might be good, but that storyline seems to have little left.

I may cry with happiness at the sight of my boys back on the ice against the Lightning tonight. I'm really hoping Kyle Beach is ready to make this roster and take over the role that Big Buff vacated.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 08:36 AM) Yeah, I am in the camp that sticks to the players in that offer. I don't want Noah included. We need his defense and rebounding if Gibson is in the deal. I would assume that Noah would replace Gibson in the deal, not be added. Personally, I'll drive Joakim to the airport. You don't snub opportunities to acquire 26-year old top 10 NBA players. Other high-energy, no-score centers will come available, more Carmelo Anthony's to pair with D-Rose will not.

I f***ing hate Oliver Platt.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 07:48 AM) Its Fincher directing, and I have yet to see him make a bad film. Panic Room was rather lame.

QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 06:34 AM) SOA was good again last night. I just came here to post that, he was fantastic. Hopefully we can put the Gemma-daddy storyline behind us and get to Ireland for some ass-kicking.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 08:49 PM) Running Wilde's supposed to be funny, right? Ouch, not very entertaining so far, and I love Will Arnett. I LOL'd a few times. It has potential. Plus, there was a "huge mistake" reference. If you remember, the AD pilot wasn't exactly the funniest thing ever because they had so much to set up. However, there was a lot of stupid s*** in THIS pilot, and I certainly am not comparing the two in greatness, but Mitch Hurwitz and Will Arnett have earned a little leeway with me. Even though that animated show they did with Jason Bateman was so awful.

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 02:51 PM) Remember when Robin was attractive on HIMYM? What the hell happened to her? Even when she was made up last night she wasn't as pretty as she used to be. Age, and she may or may not have had a child.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 20, 2010 -> 11:39 AM) get used to seeing Coyote in the Chicago area, even the city. They've been adapting quickly here and moving in all over the place. And now, we had our first Wolf sighting in Illinois a few months back, as the packs in Wisconsin continue to thrive and push south. People are already in a panic about coyote in some of the suburbs (with, mostly, no good cause to be), wolves will increase that tension a lot (again, without any good reason, in terms of human safety). We had a coyote in our backyard a couple years ago. Cute little f***er.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 18, 2010 -> 12:52 PM) Have you ever seen a fox? And then realized "s*** that's a fox, I've never seen one in real life"? Golfing about 8 years ago or so. Hit the green. Fox comes out, takes the ball, goes back into the trees. Recently, I randomly saw a big fat f***ing beaver roadkilled in the middle of Route 53 in Lombard. Seemed like a weird spot for a beaver.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 10:11 AM) Because it appears thus far that Lucas Harrell is not a major league starter. More likely it appears that Harrell is already pitching for Garcia, and it appears Lucas Harrell is not capable of starting 40% of our games.

Seeing the name Chris Broussard makes me want to vomit and reminds me of very, very, very bad times earlier this summer.

QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 21, 2010 -> 11:16 AM) You also need to watch The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret on IFC. http://www.ifc.com/todd-margaret/ Thank you, Jeremy. I've been waiting for the announcement of when IFC would be running it. I've watched the trailers on youtube too many times.

That is awesome editing. Guy "remixes" The Dark Knight with only sounds from The Dark Knight.

Braylon Edwards' DWI violated his parole for an Aggravated Battery charge earlier this year, and he could be looking at jail time.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 20, 2010 -> 08:03 PM) Stupid, stupid article here if you want something to laugh at. Yahoo writer has Rose and Durant as the 1st and 2nd most overrated players on his list. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ac-6753654 Kevin Durant is the best scorer in the league hands down. That guy is an idiot. Until D-Rose hits jump shots, he is overrated.

PLEASE WATCH "RUNNING WILDE" TONIGHT!!! I begged people to get on board with "Arrested Development", and most showed up when the DVDs came out and the show got predictably FOX'd. "Running Wilde" is the new Mitch Hurwitz (creator of AD) show, starring Will Arnett (the funniest man ever, played Gob in AD, and has had many hilarious roles since) and David Cross (also of AD fame, as well as "Mr. Show", a funny book, amusingly serious stand-up, and countless other hilarity). It's on tonight on FOX at 9:30/8:30 CT, and it looks hilarious.

Congratulations, Nintendo. You've managed to make a game for the Wii that matches the graphics of one you released for the 64 over 13 years ago. Am I the only person disgusted that they replaced Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig for a game about a movie that starred Pierce Brosnan? I'll admit, for the novelty alone I want to try this game out, but I am glad that the most exciting game my system has to release this year is a not a remake, with basically the same graphics, of a game that came out half my lifetime ago.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 20, 2010 -> 03:30 PM) How long have they have been playing each other has nothing to do with anything. You said that Bears/Packers games are always competitive no matter what their records are. I call bulls*** and tried to show you that 50% of their meetings in the last 4 years have not been competitive. Do you remember the New Years Eve night game in 2006? That was the least competitive piece of s*** football game I have ever seen. The Bears were prepping for the playoffs and wanted nothing to do with playing that game. There have been past scores in the rivalry of 61-7, 49-0, 40-3, 45-7 among others. Many of their games have been close and competitive but there have been several occurences where one team just wasn't on the same level as the other and gets run off the field. It's possible the Packers do it on Monday. I hope not but to say it never happens in the series is a stretch. Damn son, take it easy.
