He's a terrific defensive 2B, maybe even the best in the AL. To me that makes up for a lot of his deficiencies on offense, but it does get super f***ing frustrating watching him suck so hard with a bat in his hands.

detroit's last 12 games of the season are all against the royals and the twins. How the f*** does that happen?

I'm kind of surprised by this trade, I thought for sure DD would get Greinke and close the door on the division. I know he has a history with the Marlins but I think he made a mistake not shooting higher with this trade. Sanchez is not the kind of difference maker Greinke would have been. Detroit's rotation certainly got better, but will it be enough to take them deep into the postseason? I read that they also had their sights on Justin Upton but couldn't make that work. To me, it seems like this is their year to do it if they're going to do it.
