QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 4, 2008 -> 10:02 PM) I don't understand the ump in that situation. The minute the runner abandons the field, he is out. You give him time to make it back to the plate, but the minute he leaves the field of play the ump can call him out. Maybe this is the way you'd like it to be, but it's not how it is.

QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ Jun 4, 2008 -> 08:37 PM) Following the game on gamecast - what happened to prevent the Sox from getting the 4th run? Slide, blocked the plate, no tag, no touch of the plate, no safe call. Appealed...out.

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 09:46 PM) You've expressed your dislike/like of Jagr, all of you have. Now just explain why. He's a team cancer, a whiner, a diver, old, the opposite of a leader, and will be highly overpaid by someone. It's money spent much better elsewhere. -

QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 3, 2008 -> 12:08 PM) Why is everyone so against Jagr? His last 3 seasons: GP G A 82 54 69 82 30 66 82 25 46 He's just an older version of Hossa, and he'll come way cheaper. This would allow us to get another top-notch forward, and the PP QB that we desperately need, and the best one out there in Brian Campbell at about $7.1 a year. And don't say you don't want the man because he said that he'd rather not participate in shoot-outs. Maybe he's trying to help the team, maybe that's not a strong point for him. I'd rather have Kane, Toews, and Sharp, anyway. Here's their future. Let Lalime walk, and switch around Khabby and Crawford as the starter. If Crawford out plays him, Khabby can be the back-up and tutor him. There really isn't a goalie market in this offseason. Next year, Ryan Miller and Martin Biron are UFA's, so there's a possibility. Biron will be 36 by that time, though. Jagr is a big b****. As far as Crawford goes, there's no way he can be the starter next year. Habby is not the future, but that's irrelevant. You don't play the younger goalie next year - you play the better one. Next year isn't a rebuilding year. You dress the best team possible. -

Then, they are talking about how the Sykora penalty is legit. A hooking penalty in the defensive zone, no scoring chance, something that's gone on all over the place, and isn't called, which is correct. Seriously, retarded. Anyways, let's hope it ends on a legit goal somewhere, penalty or no penalty. -

I can't stand listening to Eddie O and the rest of these clowns. Both those interference calls were MUST CALLS. Idiots. Absolute idiots. If Detroit pounds home one of those rebounds, they are all yelling that the game ended on a play where Fleury was taken out of the play. Seriously, this is the most retarded broadcast I've heard in many years. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 29, 2008 -> 11:57 PM) Yeah, great game to be at. Hopefully they play better defense on Sunday, the Penguins did whatever they wanted to the last two periods offensively. Both teams are going to be working on limiting the shot totals the other side gets as well as the good scoring chances. Some of our dmen had some bad pretty games...and we had some really stupid penalties. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 29, 2008 -> 11:42 PM) Indeed. I'd be interested to see a replay of the game tying goal that was called off in the last couple of minutes. I thought he kicked it, but it was hard to tell for sure. He absolutely did, it was the right call. It's real tough, too, cuz Pochmara only gets one look at that, and no replay. I'm glad he got a good look at it. -

Wolves take game one 5-4. Pretty crazy game, hopped out to a 3-0 lead and hung on for the win. This should be a really good series if tonight is any indication. -

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ May 27, 2008 -> 03:11 PM) I imagine the Hawks are going to make a run at other teams free agents this offseason (hopefully if a player helps what they've been developing). What are some of the big name FAs for the NHL this offseason that you guys think would look good on the Hawks? Hossa Campbell Redden Liles Huselius Langkow Malone Ryder -
QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ May 27, 2008 -> 02:38 PM) Speaking of Hormel Chili. Heres a really good dip/snack thats easy to make: Get a round dish. Spread Philadelphia Cream Cheese on bottom. Pour Hormel Chili on top of that. Heat it for bout minute. Then put shreded cheddar cheese on top. Heat till its warm and you good to go along with your choice of chips. Put all the ingredients in a glass dish at one time, and heat it in the oven - much better temperature throughout. It's money. Watch the cheese to figure out when it's done.

Bags are sweet, but it really depends on the boards/bag combo how good the game is. I hate huge bags filled with rice or beads or whatever that only are good for people who 'flop/spin (aka throw like a girl)', I prefer sand and a board that doesn't slide em everywhere where you can naturally 'throw' Ladder golf is a really fun game, like it a lot. Washers on the other hand, I find pretty boring, and pretty impossible. I've never seen anyone play it with any sort of success.

QUOTE (juddling @ May 24, 2008 -> 09:38 PM) you know as a kid my mom used to make Mac and cheese and throw in a can of tuna fish. I'm 39 this weekend and i still eat it now and then. I got my kids hooked on it and my wife will eat it once in a while. It's cheap to make.....very filling and tasty. One day I threw a can of Hormel chili on mac and cheese, and I found a delicious combo. I almost never eat mac and cheese by itself anymore.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. The error message is: ***STOP: 0X0000007F (0X00000008, 0X80154000, 0X00000000, 0X00000000) I had someone who knows computers somewhat well look at it and they couldn't find anything wrong. Nor could they get the blue screen to come up, which, upon firing up my computer again tonight, came up within 5 minutes. Odd. He thought it sounded like the computer was overheating. But I just turned it on and it's not hot at all and the BSOD still came up. I don't want to throw almost the value of my computer at Geek Squad to fix this. Does anyone have any suggestions now that they have the error code?
