Fiddler stops a shot with his glove with his back turned to the shot and Ellis out of position. This is unbelievable. -

The overhead looked clear, as did the one right above the net. There's no bias here - I don't know how anyone can look at that and say it wasn't put in with his hands. Granted, i don't have HD on this game. But unless he doesn't have fingers, that was not the shaft of his stick. They probably used inconclusive and went with the call on the ice. f***ing s***. -

That sure as f*** looked to be batted in with his hand. f***ing christ. Blues get a goal disallowed late last game which was a bad call, and this appeared to be another bad goal to allow that goal. f***. -

To anyone with comcast - the game is set to be on channel 467 tonight. Free preview of mlb extra innings, which shares the same channel set in the 460's with nhl center ice. I won't have to head to the bar after all. -
I drank a mountain dew while driving home tonight. Glad the cops didn't see me.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 11:40 PM) Hawk fans have to pray for a regulation loss for Nash tomorrow night. If that happens, the Hawks control the fate of Nashville. Edmonton is basically done(in terms of the Hawks) because they have already played 81 games. If the Hawks win out, it doesn't matter what Edmonton does. Vancouver is the wild card in all this. Up two points on the Hawks, with two games left, and they play Edmonton and Calgary to finish out the season. The thing I don't know if Vancouver splits, and the Hawks win out, they will have equal points. Whats the tiebreaker? Edmonton is already officially eliminated from playoff contention. Wins is the tiebreaker with Vancouver. They must lose one game in regulation, and we have them beat. -

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 2, 2008 -> 10:47 PM) Correct me if I'm wrong but as of right now Friday's game vs the Preds will not be televised? They are working on it, but no guarantees. -

Holy hell, that was a fun game to be at. They really came out and took it right to Detroit early and that was key. Took Detroit 8 minutes to get a shot. The big thing was keeping the margin at 2+. 3-1, we made it 4-1. 4-2, we made it 5-2. That game gets to a one goal margin and I would have just waited for the tying goal at that point. So now...LET'S. GO. BLUES. Also against Vancouver. I'll be watching the Blues game tomorrow at the bar. Let's all pray. Friday would be Nashville's 2nd game in 2 days, in our building, with everything on the line. Then Sunday we could play a Detroit team that should have the President's trophy locked up and in theory scratching some guys with the playoffs starting in 3 days. God damn that f***ing game last night. Ugh. OK that's enough of that. Can only hope for the help now. -

f***ing Blues. We'd be a Van loss away from controlling our destiny with 3 wins. It was painful watching the end of that game - especially with the bad no go call. FACK -

http://blackhawks.nhl.com/team/app/?servic...rticleid=358719 All 82 games on TV next year, likely 20 on WGN. Looks like attendance will plummet. -
You guys should all be umpires. 101 you crack me up the most. First call could have gone either way, and no replay was 100% clear. Tough call on a bang bang play, that goes either way and is a ridiculously tough call. Konerko holds that base, and everyone here is commending the ump for making the call. Also keep in mind the angle he has, which is, yes, the angle he's going to have. He's not making that call from where Baines is standing, or 6 inches from the base. Second call is blown, no doubt. He missed one. He should have swung to 3rd base line extended as much as he could to get an angle, perhaps that would have helped. Third call you are all just listening to Hawk b****. You can't flail your arms at the defensive player, that was an easy interference call. You can't do whatever you want just because you can reach the base. That is not the rule, nor the interpretation of such rule. Cabrera reached out his arm in an attempt to grab him and break it up. Stupid play. And, it doesn't matter what was going on at first or how close that play may have been. I'm sure the Sox will not benefit from one blown call this year.

We need the NHL season to be 92 games long at this point. At least they went down fighting. -
Can't remember who makes them, but they are awesome. Does anyone have one for April?
-
I'm really having a hard time deciding which one is the more stupid of the two.

Last night really f***ed up our chances, we're really in big trouble now. QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 24, 2008 -> 11:10 AM) so I asked Krush this yesterday percent chance of the hawks sneaking into that last spot at this moment? http://playoffstatus.com/nhl/blackhawkswhatif.html -
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 02:39 PM) Big time maybe on this one. I hated staying over the summer last year but a lot of my friends are staying down here now and I'm really tempted to. It'd be hard to explain it to the parents though as I never come home. That being said, I really am leaning towards staying here now. I'll let you know when I'm for sure. "Hi, mom? I was planning on coming home today, but I got drunk again, so I can't drive. I'll try again tomorrow. Love you!" No, it's not an excuse, it's an actual explanation for this kid. Every single day.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 25, 2008 -> 04:54 PM) Nope. Justin's life is spring break.

I call bulls***. Seriously, no way someone can be that stupid, as well as do it with people in the house.

I love seeing Davidson win, went to high school with Jason Richards. He went to Barrington and was a freshman when I was a senior (his sister was also a senior, played at Iowa). It was fun watching him torch teams then, and starting a "he's a freshman" chant. He was good then and he's good now. It's just eery to watch him on the national stage like this, again.

Holy f*** what a game to be at. I knew that puck was ending up in our net as the puck bounced to Kane...was saying 'uh oh' the whole time, and with the guy coming out of the box. What a comeback. You just never know. Just keep winning and hope for everything around you to break right. Yes Tony I feel the same way. I'm just trying so hard to let that s*** go...but as you can see from my post above, I can't either. Also I'd like to add the Blues are bunch of assclowns with their crap after the whistle. -

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 04:42 PM) Hawks lose in the SO today. If they would have picked up that 2nd point, they would have been 5 points out with 7 games left. O well..... The extra point sure would have helped us, and taken one out of Nash's pocket. Win today's game in hand, and we're 4 out with 6 left. It's nice to at least type a sentence like that this late in the season. Avs would have to fall on their ass, and Nash and Edm would have to falter a bit...and, well, we'd have to either win out or win at least 5 of 6 AFTER today's must win. It's not likely, we all know that. And the closer we get without getting there, the more pissed off I get over the whole month of January, as well as that hiccup of 1 of 8 points just 2 weeks ago. Such a f***ing disappointment. I'll be there, I think showtime's going as well. -
QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 12:20 PM) Problem is, 101, Gordon was already struggling before he hurt his wrist. I am not goign to bash Gordon, but it's fair to be realistic. Gordon was a very good player and a great freshman. But DJ White was by far the best player on the team. Gordon has lots of talent, but his game is not polished. He is explosive, yet too often reckless and sloppy. He has great range, but is not a consistent shooter and too often forces shots. I'm not sure he has a great feel for what a good shot and what is not sometimes. There were times that he made really bad shots covering up the poor decision making. To me it looked like he still thought he could just take the game over like it was a high school game, and he played that way at times.
