OK, at least he's not on the court this year. Too bad it had to come from outside the athletic department. Also, Incoming freshman Quinton Watkins is back in California trying to clear up some questions apparently raised by the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse. Not good.

I checked that, and I've had "until they expire" checked the entire time. Whatever this is it's pissing me off.

If BTN brings the price down, in my opinion the viewership would be enough to validate putting it on basic cable. If they want to simply use the argument that 'non fans' shouldn't have to pay for it, then every one of us should be able to customize our cable package. I could live on about 20 channels. Furthermore, why should 'fans' have to pay much extra for channels in a sports package they don't want? These things go both ways.

Also, comcast has ch 255 'reserved' for the BTN, and it has a message about the fan first website on there. There is also a half hour comcast propaganda round table discussion on the BTN on On Demand, local, comcast 100.

I'm having this problem right now. Just got a new computer, dl'd firefox. I close firefox, try to go back to Soxtalk (or anything) 20 minutes later, and i'm logged out. And i checked all the settings to save password, etc.

Come on BTN and Comcast, get a GD deal done, and now. I'm sick of reading so much garbage both ways about it. This would be a travesty if BTN isn't on Comcast through football and perhaps basketball season. I can't believe this is even a possibility.

Geek Squad said it wasn't going to be worth fixing. Got a new desktop, Compaq. Day one, thing comes up with the "blue screen of death" 3 times in 2 hours. Take that one back, now on this new (x2) one. They were able to salvage all my old stuff which was nice. I'm on Vista now and I feel like I'm on crack while trying to use this thing.

Just today my computer has begun to restart itself every few minutes. When it comes back on, it says that windows has recovered from a serious error. I've tried to follow the "file a report" thing to see what suggestions they have for fixing the problem, and it mentions things downloaded recently may affect it, etc. I have not installed any new programs recently, so this seems pretty random. It also mentions restoring the system/drive or something. I'm not computer savvy at all and am hoping for some help here. Summary: Computer keeps randomly restarting itself pretty frequently. Windows says it has recovered from a serious error each time it comes back. Thanks in advance for the help.
