Hawks traded Cullimore and Salm to Montreal for Samsonov. I would have liked to have moved Aucoin because he has 2 years left on his contract and for more money, but I'll take either of them gone at this point. Salm is a toy hockey player so no loss there. Samsonov has talent and may be able to be a decent contributor with a change of scenery. Hopefully he doesn't bring his attitude problems to Chicago. To me this is a no lose deal, and could turn out to be a huge win if things play out right. Good start to the summer Dale. Edit: And minutes later we find out that Montreal has already bought out Cully's contract

Good thing they have a basket at Wrigley...there's been 2 balls today touched by fans hanging over the basket. One on a double by Lee that was called correctly, and another fly ball to right where Floyd had a chance to catch it and it appears to have skimmed the hands of a fan hanging over the basket.
