  1. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jan 25, 2007 -> 07:43 PM) The Marty comment is that I don't think he is all that great any more (yes, at one time he was). Good/very good sure, but I wasn't surprised he gave up 6 goals either. I'm not sure, but I think you are way off
  2. Twins rally for 3 off wickman in the 9th, win 3-2.
  3. They could, however, be holding their clothes from the night before in one hand/under the arm and have frat hoody/warmup pants and flip flops on. Look out for those, as they are trying to get away with the walk of shame without you knowing. One day when we had to leave for hockey on a saturday at 8am my friend laid this gem on one of them walking by the dorms... "Hey there's a condom in your hair!!" This girl was speechless and her jaw dropped, knowing she just got pwned.
  4. After reading a ton of s*** on all three guys i'm pretty sold on Kane. I hope Dale just takes him #1 and doesn't trade the pick and we can go into summer, then camp minus a bunch of garbage including Ark (russia), Alexeev (not offered RFA), Bondra (UFA), Holm (UFA)
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 07:41 PM) I have more of a problem with the 4th inning double switch from yesterday than I do anything he did today. Double switches are fun and help you win. Clearly you must not understand the strategy involved in executing one of them. There is a direct correlation with double switches and wins when you play in the National League.
  6. When does this thread get pinned?
  7. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 02:42 PM) Hello middle of the order... The only way this game gets more epic is to lose it 8-7
  8. DJ : "The Sox are just playing bad baseball." Ding ding ding tell him what he's won.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 01:00 AM) If I'm KW I'm trying pretty damn hard right now to move Cintron and Mackowaik to contenders looking for utility infielders. Get a couple s*** prospects for them and fill their roster spots with Tony Eusebio and Don Baylor. Kalapse, wanting Fields to play every day at 3B.
  10. This actually made me laugh out loud, very well done. Ozzie doesn't have a clue what he's doing with a rebuilding/young team. If that's the direction we're headed in (and it should be), he's got to go sooner than later.
  11. QUOTE(max power @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 01:45 PM) No, it isn't. It happens all the time after people strike out. I saw AJ do it about a week ago and he wasn't tossed then. So you get a clue. I guess I shouldn't have been kidding. I don't know why you are trying to make this personal. Its pretty childish of you really. I was obviously kidding in my little flame. Haha, they comment on stuff as they walk away and umps sometimes let it go if they keep moving and it's not too bad. Like I said, you don't know what he said exactly (it had to be more than a few questionable words to get him tossed), so to say he shouldn't have been ejected for mouthing AFTER slamming his bat at frustration to the ump is wrong. That's why I said it's an automatic cya, because it is.
  12. QUOTE(max power @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 06:51 PM) Yeah, I agree with the suspension for throwing the helmet I guess, but the whole thing shouldn't have happened-he should not have been ejected. First off you don't know what he said, second of all arguing balls and strikes after slamming your bat in a display towards the ump = automatic cya. Get a clue about how the game works.
  13. QUOTE(max power @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 06:25 PM) I very rarely see people get booted after they slam down the bat and say s*** in frustration. Did you even read my post?
  14. QUOTE(max power @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 04:28 PM) I was 30 feet away, and I don't even think he should have been thrown out. Suspended? If it was someone else, it wouldn't have happened. Also that ump sucked bad. I must have saw around 15 times where hitters from both teams were baffled as to the whereabouts of the strike zone. Throwing helmet back towards ump = completey retarded. He got what was coming to him, especially AFTER b****ing and slamming the bat.
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 12:23 AM) No, you are not. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 12:23 AM) Kalapse Just checking
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 12:17 AM) Where the hell is SSI71 when I need him? I know he'd have my back on this one. LOL am i the only one that understands you right now?
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 11:40 PM) So wait, are we just skipping game 4 of the Yankees series? I've seen a few people mention Friday as the next game on the schedule so I'm legitimately confused here. I'm really confused as well, did this game get canceled and i'm somehow unaware? Or can people not read a schedule correctly....
  18. It sucks, but as long as I can still see all the games and the quality of play is good...well, i'm starting to not care anymore about all the business stuff - or at least i try to ignore it. The playoffs this year were fantastic, no ratings/business bulls*** should ruin that for me.
  19. Someday I won't have to watch this presentation on TV. Congrats Ducks, that's one hell of a roster. Next up, the draft!

  21. Chris Young just hit a walkoff HR for the dbacks in the tenth. Crushed it.
  22. Well America is retarded, they'd rather watch any sort of bulls*** reality show before a very entertaining game 3. That game was phenomenal in terms of entertainment value.
  23. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 04:12 PM) You are completely delusional. He should totally call Bernstein with this, I'd love to listen to that one minute or so of absolute hilariousness.
