NCAA Football 2005
I think you'll love the game whether you have knowledge of real life college football or not. It is the most addicting thing i've ever encountered. The new EA Level Gamer thing...whatever it's called...is not good. When i look at how many days i've played it total by the time January rolls around, it's sickening.

Sox might have resigned Freddy
Well yeah...but if he's not going to be resigned for sure now, wouldn't you think it makes sense that the chances of him being dealt increases? I'm just throwing that out there, i don't really like the ortiz/jones deal anyhow.

Well by winning more baseball games, you will generate more revenue (or so you'd think). I think that's the overall goal of this signing for the next 3 years.

College Football
We'll beat you in football and Bball this year, your only hope is a Bball win in Bloomington, which you didn't get last year. I can't wait until you come back to our AH.

Classy Jr..
Sometimes i guess you get more by not asking for a lot in the first place and doing the "right" thing. I would give the ball back to any player if he just gave me something autographed, preferably something he used to hit it with. Of course, this excludes Bonds. I'd most likely sell a Bonds ball.

Correct, Willingham isn't coaching "his" team yet He still has a few more years in my eyes, for sure. His first season exceeded expectations by a lot, last year...well, Carlyle Holliday.

Sox might have resigned Freddy
Does this increase the chances that Maggs gets dealt? It certainly could, though i still don't see it happening.

Whose streak was most impressive?
QP, that's insane. I didn't miss much school, but i'd at least take off opening day every single year since i've been in high school, plus i was real ill a few times only for a day or so

Whose streak was most impressive?
What year are you? That's actually pretty impressive

Whose streak was most impressive?
DiMaggio. Ripken's close, but his was more "lucky" than DiMaggio's, i imagine. I'm not saying it's luck, but Ripken was lucky not to suffer a large injury, or miss time due to family issues, etc. DiMaggio's was just pure execution, and was ridiculously long.

Senators sign Hasek
Sens definitely needed some roster turnover. Their roster in the playoffs has just gotten beaten up the last few years, with tons of talent.

Senators sign Hasek
Ditto, i hate Detroit, but Toronto is #2 on the list, tied with the Rangers.

Senators sign Hasek
Last year the problem was that he came in completely out of shape and hadn't been playing hockey regularly. From what i understand, he's dedicated to come into camp this year in shape and healthy. But you are right, who knows when they will start playing again And as far as screwing over Detroit goes, i loved every minute of it.

Sox might have resigned Freddy
Score said that the White Sox will probably announce it sometime today. I don't know how official this is, but it sounds true. I think it'd be nice to have it announced before the game - Freddy's first start, new contract...place will be rocking.

College Visits
I assume you'll play at U of I since you didn't play there last year. I'm not sure how the scheduling works, though. Perhaps it will be a 1 and 1 again, that would be nice. I'm going to try to snare some extra tickets to the IU game at our place. I'll see what i can do.

College Visits
Orientation at U of I was pretty boring. My 2 lasting memories are how there was no TV access, so i was clueless as to what was going on in the sports world (i think i told my mom that i felt "lost") and running around on Memorial Stadium. Soxnbears, you should check out the field and go play some catch, it should be open (or at least there will be a way into it). Don't go into orientation with high hopes, but try to get a grasp of the campus and where things are. You will probly become very frustrated with scheduling as well, that was hell. Greasywheels, the 4 or so times i've been to IU it's been a blast. The campus is real nice and i think you'll have an awesome time there. Buying football tickets is a must, i don't care what college you go to...it's college football after all. You should make it to U of I when we play you this fall.

NCAA Football 2005
I'm going to pre order it tomorrow, i can't wait for it to come out SoxnBears, i think we'll have plenty of 'live' games next year, should be sweet I'll join this league (or just play people from here for fun) once i'm down at school in late August, and assuming i can get it set up correctly.

So those who went to the 1st game
Atmosphere was cool, there was a real "buzz" the whole game I'd say it was almost 90% Cubs fans. It was quite ridiculous.
