Ovechkin is almost as much of a guaranteed superstar as their has been in the draft in years (except next year in Crosby). If the Hawks somehow snab the pick, i'll have an Ovechkin jersey within a week. This would be a HUGE step in turning the franchise around. Problem is, it's probly a pipe dream. Plus even if Tallon wants to do it, it has to go through Wirtzy. In a two person draft, you will have to pay a huge price to get in the top 2 picks, i think.

Ya, the Arnold stuff has been rumored for a few days (and even last month), good to see it happened. I don't consider the Powell stuff news. We all knew he wasn't going to go to the draft in the first place, he was just doing it to get his name out there for next year.

He didn't kill the kid like people want to think, but diving over the seat is a bit drastic. And then he showed off the fact that he got the ball, i don't think that helped. I heard last night that the guy has had a change of heart, and is giving the kid the baseball along with an undisclosed amount of Texas season tickets to see more games this year. Now they should really lay off the guy.

I'm looking to get a flat panel monitor for my PC. I think it'd be nice to have because it would take up a lot less room on my desk at school, and i hear the picture is much more clear, etc. For those of you who have them...is it worth it to get one? If so, any recommendations on brand or size? Any help is appreciated.

I took a shot at both this weekend...they are both pretty good. Southsider is a bit better, all bias aside, but i thought they were worth the 2.99 for sure.
