  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 15, 2013 -> 06:35 PM) Espn says Alexander's recruitment probably isn't over. Lol, good god. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/colleges/p...nder-commitment The guy's a clown that can't get enough attention
  2. To answer the original troll question, cliff said he was going to Illinois if the package went to Kansas.
  3. QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 15, 2013 -> 04:22 PM) Sorry to rub it in Illinois fans, but are you kidding? Did you really think you would get this guy? Do yourself a favor and assume Illinois will not get a 5-star recruit until they are at least a perennially top 25 program again. Even then, reality check, you probably won't get them very often. The blue chip recruits go to the blue blood schools. It's part of what is ruining college basketball. The same teams win every year with some new superstar, that superstar leaves, but the recruiting remains. What the f*** are you talking about?
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 15, 2013 -> 09:15 AM) Also, because I'm not classy at all, I hope Snider is a massive failure if he goes to Louisville. 100%. They've handled this extremely poorly. And that's being nice.
  5. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 11:34 PM) I don't get how Florida is paying half of the salary... I don't either, but I like it. Wait, I take that back. Because Tallon is the GM, so now I get it. Welcome back Kris
  6. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 09:24 PM) He had a ceremony at school? Also contact with louisville has been confirmed. I guess. Usually that ceremony involved the walk to the fax machine. I signed it. OK, let's go home now? Isn't it an unwritten rule that B10 coaches don't recruit guys that have already verbaled? Yes, I realize Louisville isn't in the B10. And I realize this is Illinois so I'm biased, but I've always felt that trying to recruit guys that have already verbaled is shady. If the player announces he's opening it back up, fine. I also think guys should be able to sign as juniors...or even really whenever the hell they want. Would eliminate all this late nonsense and would have the coaches more in control than the players at that point.
  7. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 08:59 PM) The fact that so many in the know have been quiet concerns me. The coaches apprently think hes still good but admit someone is trying to steal him That and the Snider's haven't refuted anything...
  8. QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 08:53 PM) Agreed. It also sounds like the Lyle camp is leaking some of the Cliff to KU stuff. It could definitely just be smoke. I don't feel any different now than I did earlier. I think it's 50/50. The fanbase shouldn't meltdown just yet. I won't metldown about Cliff. Well, unless he chooses Depaul. Losing him to Kansas? Tip your cap, disappointing move on. Snider decommits? There's your meltdown.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 08:24 PM) Snider sent in his signed LOI. This would be BS if it happened. False.
  10. Jerry Meyer just said hearing reliable chatter QS might go back to louisville What the f***ing f***.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 07:26 PM) Umm, snider better not decommit f***. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 08:07 PM) Jerry Meyer changed his pick back to Kansas for Alexander f*** again.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 04:16 PM) All three going to Kansas is my gut feeling. I can't see that happening.
  13. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 14, 2013 -> 07:43 AM) Never would have imagined this at the start of the year, but I was just able to trade Ray Rice for Alshon Jeffery and I'm THRILLED about it As you should be, that's a brutal trade for the other guy. I just traded rice for joique bell. I have Bush, would rather have the handcuff if I he gets hurt and I'm not starting rice anyway.
  14. Article on what to do down 15 and scoring a td. Comments have some good stuff in there too. http://www.footballperspective.com/trailin...ter-touchdowns/
  15. QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 13, 2013 -> 10:41 PM) Why? So they can get slaughtered again? Ya, I don't need to watch another waste of a bcs game.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 13, 2013 -> 08:57 PM) I just feel you should have possession to get credited for the rebound, I guess. Whoever gets it after the tap out maybe should get credited for it. But they did way less work (usually) to get the rebound. It's not perfect, but I'd rather have the guy responsible for the possession getting the credit. I see your point though.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 13, 2013 -> 08:14 PM) Ekey active as hell. Still hate that tap outs are considered rebounds. It has to be credited to someone, why not the guy who actually gained his team possession. Love me some tap out rebounds.
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 10, 2013 -> 08:42 PM) I have this bad, bad feeling he's going to pick DePaul. And I'm going to f***ing lose my s***. THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE
  19. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 13, 2013 -> 06:55 PM) Ray Rice is a beast That ISU guy who came in here and said Rice was absolutely nothing, clearly had an agenda, shocking. Thanks for the insight on that one. Rice is a good one.
  20. Those are some strange payouts and rules. No way 3rd should get 3x second. Hell, you could make an argument they should be equal payouts, as both teams went 1-1 in the playoffs. 2nd should always be close to 3rd money, IMO. Those keeper rules are senseless.
  21. Tonight after the Illinois game http://btn.com/shows/big-ten-elite/
  22. Robert ‏@ALionEye There's not much more precious in life than watching IU fans dance in celebration of... LIU-Brooklyn missing a last second shot for the win.
  23. After Calipari's ridiculous whining session, I was hoping MSU would pound on them the whole game.
