  1. Yeah dude, i seriously pictured you looking way worse than you actually look......
  2. Thats not saying much, though.
  3. Its Beavis!!! Nothing wrong with that....except that I'd probably be the biggest dumbass in the world Yeah but he is funny! That he is I think Beavis and Butthead was the greatest cartoon ever created, as far as pure comedy goes. Nothing beats that. One of the best shows created, period. Cartoons or not...............

    DA BEARS

:fyou I'm only speaking of the truth here. This is gonna be a long season indeed for Chicago Bear football! :finger :fyou
  6. Let's just all remember what we said about Colon-Buehrle at the beginning of the season, and see that both are pitching sub-.500! My point is that ANYTHING can happen to even a rotation like that of KC. That's why games are played on the field instead of just on paper. I forsee this division being up for grabs until the final weekend of the season.
  7. Frank Thomas is an AWESOME hitter when he wants to be. The problem is he is selfish, he whines, he doesnt put the team first and he is getting older. Im all for letting this guy go and believe me, a few years ago i was a HUGE Frank fan........... That's BS Bmr. This is reality: 1B .352 BA 91 AB 8HR 22 RBI 22BB 22K 1.212 OPS DH .234 BA 316 AB 20HR 44RBI 53BB 65K .833 OPS Home .280 BA 200 AB 20HR 41 RBI 36BB 40K 1.043 OPS Away .239 BA 209 AB 8HR 25 RBI 39BB 48K .792 OPS The bottom line is this: Until the SOX have a player that puts up 1000 OPS consistently month after month, Thomas should be playing 1B. If we we're talking about Koney you'd kiss his arse. if we were talking about Maggs you'd kiss his arse. If we we're talking about any other player you's kiss his arse in order to get the most out of him. Frank is not the kind of player that can just sit on the bench betw AB's. That's what this comes down to. He needs to be moving about. His numbers show that demonstrably. It would be interesting if someone could find his career #'s at 1B & DH to see if this has always been the case. If it is, then it's hard to blame this on Franks ill-timed comments to reporters. Hmmm youre basing this on 91 at bats? I dont think that says much for your "opinion", but hey thats just mine.
  8. 6'1 210 pounds and ugly.
  9. I dont see anything wrong with a straight guy mentioning that another guy is good looking. Its normal, if you ask me. I know one thing, other girls call other girls hot all the time. So how is it any different for guys? I do know though that many guys aren't willing to say that. I am probably one of them. There is just something about me that doens't like calling another guy attractive. Like if my sister would ask me is the guy hot, I'd be like, see for yourself And no I'm not homophobic. WEll i certainly dont go around saying oh wow that guy is good looking, but if someone asks my opinion, i have no problem saying yes or no. Yeah maybe Hawk is a little weird in doing so(assuming he is straight), but i certainly dont think it makes him gay, nor do i care if he IS gay.......
  10. Lets just take one game at a time, and start by winning tonight!
  11. I see things the same way. The sox obviously have the talent, now we just need that miracle to push the rest in motion...........
  12. I dont see anything wrong with a straight guy mentioning that another guy is good looking. Its normal, if you ask me.
  13. with the way the sox have played lately, we need one. I have expressed my disappointment in this team, but something has changed. I have had one of my "visions" and i believe tonights game will be the turnaround to the season. Let this be the kharma thread that puts that miracle into motion............. GO SOX!!
  14. ID bet on it. His futile hitting from the DH is just mental...........aka on purpose.
  15. Its part of the business dude. I guess you just have to accept it, to a point. If anyone goes overboard, take care of it in your own way.

  17. Yeah i agree. He is overboard negative. I guess the easiest way i can explain his behavior is he is trying to ease his future pain. If you tell yourself the season is over in mid August, the rest of the losses wont hurt as much. Its almost like protecting yourself. I know that may sound stupid, but its actually very common in people. Im a huge fan, if i think the sox are going to lose, i tend not to watch them. It hurts less. I do see your point in that all his posts are just sox bashing, which is borderline trolling.
  18. Hey, at least this time we have Karma on our side. Who's starting? Tonight? Buehrle v. Washburn The sox will win this game.
  19. Oh dont give me that s***. Frank Thomas makes a LOT of money to hit a f***ing baseball whether hes playing 1st base, dh or playing center field. He is just a whiny, pouting, crying baby who isnt trying hard enough because he isnt getting his way............
