Curb your enthusiasm proves alibi
I think it was a crowd scan or something.

Curb your enthusiasm proves alibi
Man appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm while murder occurred A man spent 5 and half months in jail on murder charges, but swore that he was at a Dodgers game with his daughter when the murder occurred. His lawyer then saw the man in an episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" that was being filmed at Dodger Stadium during the time of the murder. Pretty awesome for the guy

Holy shit
I feel bad for Chavez. When he decided to stay with the A's for less money he became one of my favirote players.

Dontrelle Willis Watch
It would have been awesome if he had done it...I think it is obvious that I am a fan.

Mags needs to remove his tampon
Long term is more important than whether or not he plays right now. I am sure he wants to get all the playing time he can in his contract year, so I doubt maggs is sitting out because he is a pussy. Magglio will play when he is healthy, and lets just hope he regains his health soon.

When will Willie Harris get his first dinger?
This thread reminds me of when Willie Mays Hayes tries to hit for power in Major League. To deter him from swinging for the fences the managers makes him do push-ups every time he hits a fly ball.

Just making sure...new school doesn't compare.

Awesome stuff!!!

The Twilight Zone
Are we talking new school TZ or old school? Anyone remember Tales of the Crypt?

Mets Have Interest in Rauch
Kazmir may have a bright future ahead of him, it will depend on his health.

Ordonez Discussion
I'm not saying it is absolutely true. All I am saying is that you can't write it off as false because of proximity. Could it be false...yes, but you never know where someone has a source. People love to rip on the trib, but if the negativity was as harsh as people make it sound, they would never get a single story from anyone inside the sox.

Ordonez Discussion
You never know who has sources where. After all, Reinsdorf is from NY.

Ordonez Discussion
Carlos is streaky, and Frank is aging. No guaruntees that they will be able to carry an offense. I don't think we are going to have Maggs back, but that doesn't mean our offense will produce just as much without him.

Kenny, Don't Trade Jon Rauch
If anyone has any Mets questions just ask me. A lot of my friends are Mets fans, so I have to listen to all of their s***.

Rauch to stay with Sox organization for now
How the f*** should I know? I hate it when reporters write stupid over dramatic rhetorical questions.

5th Starter blues, Another Factor
Nice work. It is very interesting to see the break down.

Kenny, Don't Trade Jon Rauch
I think it is mid 90's now, but he used to be high 90's, even as high as 98. Its amazing a guy could throw so hard, and strike out so few.

Ordonez Discussion
I didn't mean that we should spend 10 million and keep maggs, in fact I doubt that we will even spend 10 million when maggs leaves...it would be uncharacteristic of Reinsdorf, and will depend on how the Sox perform this season. What I meant was I would love to have Reed and Maggs. That way we can have reed and maggs at the corners for a long time. But it won't happen.

Ordonez Discussion
Yes, it sounds like we have given him some nice offers.

Ordonez Discussion
I'd actually love to have both I know what you are saying, and your scenario is going to play out, because it doesn't look like are chances of resigning maggs are that great. I will be interested to see who we spend the money on. the free agent class will be solid, maybe a bit too pricey though.

Ordonez Discussion
We can find power in other places, but I would rather have Magglio than Reed. However, finances are going force Magglio out of town.
-
Ordonez Discussion
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Reed's average is falling like a sack of bricks. He is in the .280's now. Obviously that is still not bad, but I don't think we can just assume that he is going to be ready to be an everyday starter next season. There is no reason to rush this guy.

Ordonez Discussion
Mets fans would kill for Ordonez, in fact I think a few have already tried in vain. The mets have a weak system though, so they will not try to trade for him. They might give him the best contract offer this winter though.

When will we need a 5th guy for the next 5 weeks
excellent, break huddle!
