    Crying

Right now my friends mom is dying from cancer. They told her she was going to die four-five years ago (He would of been about your age at that time). Since then she's stayed fine but about a month ago my friend was back down from school because his mom had got sick. Now he is relegated to going to her house where she is laying in a bed all day and that just saddens me. I know if I were in that situation it would be so incredibly hard. She just lays their and watches tv until she will eventually pass away peacefully. Worse of all my friend just sits and watches knowing their is nothing he can do to help. I think that has to be incredibly hard. I wish you and every other child would never have to go through that process and I wish no parent would ever have to deal with their child dying. Always remember your mom as you will always carry a part of her with you. Thanks chisoxfn, my brother lives in Chicago and had just graduated from college when my mom took a turn for the worst, so he had to go back and forth like your friend. It was very hard when she was in the hospital and in hospice, there isn't much to do except ponder the situation. Thanks again for your sympathies and offer my sympathies and prayers to your friend.

LMAO, definately glad I passed over reading that too. If the anarchist cook book is what I am thinking of, then the only thing I took away from it, was filling a tennis ball with match-ends and throwing it. I haven't tried it but it sounds intriguing. I think thats the one your thinking off. I remember reading it with my buddies and we'd test blowing s*** up. We always thought it was pretty fun. Never did anything harmful.. We used to dunk a tennis ball in gasoline, light it on fire, and then play handball with it. It was way fun..very safe too as long as you are away from dry brush. Lol, I will have to try that

Great book, though my book was either printed wrong or the author decided to be a jack ass, and the last paragraph was on the bottom of the back page which was 2 blank pages away from the previous page with words on it.

I read that in 7th grade English, perhaps we were too young to see some of the underlying meanings but everybody liked it, I won't give away the ending for you but it is a great book. the movie is also good IMO

I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings The Catcher in the Rye Killing Mr. Griffin Brave New World American Psycho [a very interesting read] Lord of the Flies Carrie There are a bunch of good books on there. And if that is Where's Waldo that we're thinking of then I'm definitely surprised. I forgot to mention lord of the flies, I just finished that one and loved it. Piggy f***in rules

Well, I don't think schools should read the joy of sex, or the joy of straight sex, or sex in school...

Top 100 banned books I have read several of these in school, and I think schools shouldn't ban books, in fact the more controversial a book is, the more inciteful it usually is, so I don't think books should be banned, but all should be read at schools.

    Crying

The song cat and the cradle also makes me get a little teary if that is the song I am thinking of. If it is then it is about the dad that worked all the time and didn't get too spend much time with his son. In my family my mom was the one who had the business job and would go on trips, and one night when we heard that song she said it makes her cry because she worries that she was gone too much (obviously I don't think she was gone too much, but I guess because she is a parent she wanted to be home 24/7), so then about a month after she told me about that song she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Ever since she passed away it seems like I have heard that song a lot and it gets to me. Outside of the death of someone close, I don't get too weapy. Forest Gump, Brians Song, Remember the Titans, and Philadelphia all got to me.
  17. Manuel is drinking coffee in the dugout? I don't think i have ever seen a manager drink a true beverage (something other than water) in the dugout.
  18. I guess game thread attendance goes down when the sox are out of the race. Soxtalk game thread aka U.S. Cellular online
  19. Nick Johnson is one hell of a ballplayer, he has all the fundamentals down and has a nice stroke. He will be great, unfortunately he wears pinstripes.

    For us Highschoolers

Thats really good, my bro finished with a 1230, so naturally my goal is a 1240. You already have me beat. My strongest subject is history, and of course that isn't on the SAT's...figures

Yeah I lived in Chicago until 2001, and plan to go back to the midwest for college, so I may take the ACT's too.
  23. Kenny Lofton has not been the same since his playoff injury sliding head first
  24. How about rather than playing corpseball, we open a f***in can of whoop ass on these Yankee motherf***ers. Living in the New York metro area, I am sick and tired of their fans. I am sick and tired of f***in Michael Kay I am sick and tired of Charlie Steiner, ESPN anchor turned Yankee scumbag and I am sick and tired of John Sterling Yelling "the yankees win, theeeeeee yankeeees win!" So how about we shut Sterlings mouth for the 4th time this season.
