Always with the controversy Funny, I thought my avatar would cause more. LMAO

Truman and Jackson don't belong but Madison does, afterall he is considered the father of the constitution (even though that wasn't during his presidency, I still think it puts him above Reagan). I like Ronald Reagan, though I am too young to remember his presidency, when I look at it from a historical standpoint he did some good things, and certaintly showed how to deal with terrorism (just look at what happened to kadalfi's mansion), but to put Ronald Reagan or most Presidents in the same boat as Lincoln or Washington is a joke.

Nelson can't find the plate. Yankees suck

I am a Reagan fan, did some great things, but he certaintly is not in the same boat as Washington or Lincoln.

This is very true, I think that with good leadership, and a little reform, the church will pull through. My prayers are with the pope.

If you don't like the White Sox, then why are you here? If you are just here to taunt, then you might as well just leave because we don't need that garbage. And remember this number because it will have the same significance come October 31st that it has now: 1908 :fthecubs

Maybe Mike will come out of retirement and show this defense how its done!

Actually Washington was the first to have a cabinet. Everyone else followed his lead. Are you sure? I could have sworn that Jackson was the first to have a full presidential cabinet, I could be wrong though, maybe he was just the first to call it a cabinet.

After looking at what you wrote, your English teacher must not be very good anyways...aloud? I meant allowed...when posting, I often write the different meaning of the word that I mean to say, for example I will write are instead of our, or there instead of their, or in this case aloud instead of allowed. Actually though I am a pretty good english student, honors if you must know Anyway thanks for being anal btw, are the cyclones going to be any good this year in basketball?

I guess nobody likes George Washington The man only set some of the most important presidential precedents. Of course I shouldn't criticize people for not voting for him, I didn't even vote for him myself.

John F. Kennedy should not be on the ballot. As popular as he was, history has shown that his brief presidency was plagued with controversy. Everything from stealing the election in Chicago (though he would have won either way), to having the secret service bring him hookers. Though the I give him credit for standing pat during the cuban missle crisis, had he taken military action, it may have been the end of the world as we know it.

I voted for Lincoln. The man got this country through its most trying times. Not since the Constitutional Convention had the United States come so close to dissolving. Yet Lincoln kept the Northern states together through the war, then after the North prevailed he put a plan on the table that welcomed the South back into the union with open arms. Most Republicans, wanted to punish the South, Lincoln realized that the people south of the mason dixon line were our brothers once again.

I am going with supersteve on this one, Andrew Jackson had brought some benefits to the Presidency, but he was a prejudiced bastard and totally screwed the Indians. His most enduring legacy is are cabinet positions, he was the first President to use a cabinet.

Like I said, I would prefer a manager with MLB managerial experience. But, its not like first timers haven't had their moments. It didn't take Mike Scioscia(I butchered the spelling) long to win a ring, now did it?

Frank has had a great career and will go down as my favirote player not named Bobby Thigpen. If we decide to keep him until he retires, great. If we decide its time to move on, fine.
-
Yankees players love him, he had a lot of job interviews last season, he obviously has a winning attitude. Anybody think he is on the list of possible replacements? Personally I think a manager with actual major league managerial experience would be best, but if KW isn't going in that direction, the I think Randolph would be excellent.

thats shocking are you from Australia ytz?

I forgot to include another question, was the stadium full? On tv they said 110,000 but they did a shot from the air, and I thought I saw quite a few empty seats, it might have just been people that left early (they showed us the shot late in the 4th quarter)

My sig of michigan stadium was huge, so I am sure that you are glad I got rid of that, is my new a good size?

Should an English teacher be aloud to just rip the President and give all of us her full opinion on the job he has done, out of nowhere? We are sitting in class discussing how a sentence lacking parallelism can be used in contracts to decieve. Then our teacher points to the board where the letters NCLB are written (No Child Left Behind). She then goes on a spiell about how the president was too careless to focus on the little details that have plagued this act, and how it is ruining schools. She also told us that Bush has done an aweful job with our educational system, even though he claimed to be the education president. Then before letting any students comment she said "Now we are going to move on". And started popping grammar questions to us again. What the hell?

I have to say I was disappointed, not disgusted like my bro who was at the game, but definately disappointed with Michigan's performance. Navarre looked pretty bad for most of the game, something just isn't clicking for him right now. As for Perry, fumbles are never acceptable, but Indiana seemed to bring a lot of defenders up to stop the run, so that could explain his lackluster running (with the exception of his big play). On the flipside, I was impressed with the defense. They have been solid outside of Eugene, which bodes well for the Iowa game. If MSU's defense can shutdown Iowa, then we can too. Did you go to the game? I think you told me awhile back that you had tix to this one, but I can't remember. If you went, how was the atmosphere there? Was everyone a little disappointed, or just content that we won?
