  1. Screw that, Santo is at the top of my list for most hated cubs at this point.... God I hate him... I have trouble hating someone who battles all the health problems he has, loses both legs, and still puts on a strong face and does his job and doesn't ask for pity. You must not listen to his radio broadcasts on WGN radio then.... I can take about 30 seconds of it before i go insane.... I haven't listened to him since I moved in 01, but I still respect him for everything he has gone through. Plus he has the greatest radio call in history: "Oh No!" -1998 when Brant Brown forgot how to catch.

  3. I think Thomas has a mutual option with a preset price, I don't know the price off the top of my head though. Valentin, I have know idea what we will do with him, personally I don't want him back. Sure he's great in the clubhouse, but he isn't that good anymore. Alomar would probably want more than he is worth. Maybe 6 million for 3 years so 18 million total, way too much for a guy on the downslope. Everett will want a lot. Colon will get a lot, and not from the White Sox. Graffi won't be expensive.
  4. :fthecubs f*** Sosa f*** Prior f*** Dusty f*** Alou f*** Grudzhoweverthehellitspelled f*** Ramirez f*** Simon f*** Lofton f*** Wood f*** em all, and all of those who support them f*** the Chicago Media :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou Angriest I have been in a long time. Watching those f***ers celebrate makes me sick. Braves record vs. scrubs in regular season: 4-2 with 11 homers in 6 games. Go Braves! :fthecubs Only cubs fan I don't hate right now is Ron Santo, at least he finally gets something to cheer him up.
  5. What about the Marlins? No Respect, No Respect.
  6. I am unphased by the Spartans...until Jeff Smoker starts lighting up the Michigan secondary. Then I will agree about not over looking the fartans.
  7. New York Yankees pounding boston would be aweful :puke
  8. I agree when they are on they are the best, luckily they have not all been on recently. Prior being the exception.
  9. My AL rep is Boston........... I agree that Boston vs. San Fran would be an awesome world series, but I am rooting for Boston vs. Florida or Boston vs. Atlanta.
  10. A's go out in the first round for the 4th consecutive year IMO.
  11. Its time for a ring in Boston. The rotation isn't great but Pedro, Lowe, Suppan, and Burkett can hold opponents enough so that Nomar, Mueller, Ramirez, and Ortiz can take over ball games
  12. I disagree, only because Wells and Clemens have been very hittable down the stretch. If they turn it on come October, then it is hard to match the Yankees. From whats being reported here in NY it looks as if Contreras will be pitching out of the bullpen this postseason. If I am torre I would put Contreras ahead of wells
  13. I wouldn't see Beckett and Willis lighting up the World Series. btw, does anybody like my new signature?
  14. Personally, I am going to take the Marlins because They have great depth and 2 awesome pitchers in Willis and Beckett, and solid pitchers in Penny, Pavano, and Redman.
  15. I agree about Prior, Wood and Zambrano to a certain extent, but I think Clement is better than you give him credit for, and unfortunately the 5th starter doesn't play a factor in the playoffs. I agree the bullpen is shaky. Here is where it gets scary though, Russ Ortiz is solid, but not as good as Prior, Greg Maddux is pretty good but not a flash of what he used to be, Horacio Ramirez is a decent left but his record is a product of great run support, Hampton is having a solid year, but can seems to lose his composure easily. The Braves Bullpen is good because of Smoltz, hopefully the braves won't need to depend on anyone else. So in the end, if the braves hit they win the series if they can't hit cubs pitching then the braves will lose. So go Braves Offense! :fthecubs
  16. The Spartans will be ranked until they play the Wolverines, and this time the league runs the clocks, so dont try any of that cheating s*** again
  17. The Braves can go head to head with anybody, I feel they are better equiped to beat the cubs than the Giants, so I am glad that the central winner plays the Braves. :fthecubs

Navarre: 2 drives 2 INT's. Thank God we have Breaston to return punts for us. When will Guitierez replace Navarre?

    Banned books

I personally didn't like it. Then again, I shocked my history class by announcing I enjoyed reading centennial, a 1000+ page masterpiece describing the evolution of a mouse in the jurrasic period into the humans that run the colorado town in the 1970's
  20. Also, one of the funniest things I have seen was when Robin Williams made fun of the French during his "Robin Williams Live on Broadway" HBO special.
  21. I'm French, so I usually don't like it when people gang up on the French, but I have been disappointed with their performance in the post 9-11 world. They seem to be more inclined to do nothing than to help us in Iraq, until we win then they want to get in for the oil. and btw what do you call 100,000 French men with their arms in the air?
