QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 26, 2014 -> 08:36 AM) I flew them a number of times when I was living in Memphis, though that was like a decade ago now. I liked them. Planes were all new and comfortable - and quiet (in terms of engine noise). Airfares were cheap. Only downside is they fly almost exclusively in/out of Atlanta, so their routes only make sense for some destinations, and you generally need to make a connection (unless you are going to or from Atlanta). Of course, going to the DR, you'd likely have to make a connection somewhere anyway. Its actually a non-stop flight out of Midway to Punta Cana. I wasn't sure if they followed to first come first serve seating process like SWA now.

Anyone have any opinions on AirTran? Flying out to the Dominican Republic in a couple weeks with them. I know they're owned by SWA but wasn't sure if they deliver a similar experience.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 10, 2014 -> 03:38 PM) Here is the deal with insanity: Its going to kick your ass for a little while. Take small breaks as needed and even use the pause button. Eventually your pace will pick up and the super hot girls he trots in front of you wont be making you look like a p****. If you can stick with it for 30 days, the next 30 are easier. That's my plan. I know I will be able to handle it and I've already accepted its going to suck. Should be a blast

QUOTE (Reddy @ Feb 10, 2014 -> 11:17 AM) I know it man, and you're right. You know I was (am) dealing with those voice issues which thankfully are much much better and much more manageable than they have been in the past - but I think a lot of this "whatevs" feeling comes from having worked so damn hard for so damn long being so meticulous about everything I was doing with my body all for the sole purpose of fixing my voice, that once it was "fixed" I had this equal-and-opposite-reaction where I just stopped doing ANYTHING because I finally could. But yeah I do need to just figure out a new routine like Rock suggested and somehow find a balance so that it's sustainable. long term. Dont really wanna do this peaks-and-valleys thing forever I'm kind of echoing what others have said pretty much you just need to find a workout and diet plan and stick to it. Hard work and dedication and once you start seeing results it becomes addictive. I let myself go all throughout high school and toward the end of freshman year at SIU I weighed 230 lbs at 5'10". I quit eating fried food, most carbs, and stopped drinking anything with sugar in it besides a few beers on the weekends and started doing lots of cardio at the rec. I lost 70 lbs in 6 months and never really looked back. Went from about 33% bf to 15% bf. I started lifting weights after I lost all the weight and currently (5 years later) weigh around 175 lbs with 11-13% bf. I also used my lifestyle change in college to get where I am now and I'm a personal trainer out here in Naperville. Fitness became my passion and I really enjoy working out. I'm always looking for new routines and ideas to keep things fresh and don't let it get boring. Take yourself out of your comfort zone, because once you get comfortable with an exercise you stop challenging your body. It can be done, buddy, just stick to it and kick ass. On a similar note I've been reading this and finally decided to cave in and start doing "Insanity". Looking for that next challenge. Never done it or anything really similar to it and did the fit test today and that whooped my ass. Should be a fun couple months but want to see if I can take my body below 10% bf before I head to Punta Cana in March. My vacation falls during the one week "rest period" so I guess we will see how it goes. Any support or tips are much appreciated.

QUOTE (onedude @ Feb 5, 2014 -> 01:45 PM) Top 5 Episode of the series right there. So much stuff happened, and it was all awesome, and unexpected. Season was good, but going slow, this episode really turned it up a few notches. Just watched last night's episode. Completely agree. This show is my favorite on Television by far.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 10:31 PM) Bola finally has been getting PT and he had a great night tonite Bola looked awesome last night, this team needs an inside presence. Hard to believe SIU won as big as they did with Desmar having a pretty rough night til the end there. Beane really stepped up, and its about time for it. Like to think this is a step in the right direction but you never know what team will show up every game. -
I know I'm 15 years late but, I just started watching The Sopranos. Pretty good stuff. Been meaning to watch it but now I've caught up on everything I wanted to so this is my filler. Should hold my attention for a while. On another note I really love True Detective. Solid series so far and looks like it's just building to something epic.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 8, 2014 -> 01:10 PM) I started to think about what Frank Thomas means to me and to my fandom. Tears started welling in my eyes. I wish like hell athletes didn't have to age. I'm with you. I was shaking, and then tears. So happy

I'm so nervous. I know it's looking good but it's the older voters I worry about. C'mon, do something right.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 12:21 AM) I played the little draft game: 1. Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo 2. Kony Ealy DE Missouri 3. Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama 4. Daquan Jones DT Penn St 5. DeAnthony Thomas RB Oregon 6. Jonathan Dowling S WKU 6. Ross Cockrell CB Duke I had no choice but to keep going pass rush. I can't pass on Mack at 14, I can't pass on Ealy in R2, then its just feeding me studs at positions I already addressed. If this happened I'd be cool with it though. I don't think that Khalil Mack will make it all the way to #14. That would be amazing but I don't think it'll happen. A lot of interest out there for him.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:59 AM) No tone on message boards so please take this as a genuine inquiry that I ask whenever people say they don't want Cutler around. Who/what would you like the Bears to have done? It's a deep QB draft from my understanding, but where the Bears are drafting they were not going to get any of the top ones without making a ridiculous trade that would have cost multiple high draft picks. Stop gap would of had to be take a QB in mid 1st or 2nd round and get a stop gap guy like Schaub or franchise Cutler for about 16mm this year. Cutler is in no way perfect, but the elite QBs are going nowhere and looking at the options I'm OK with extending Cutler. Now let's work on that D a little bit, that was a s*** show I'm glad they didn't franchise Cutler since that would screw the cap for next year but I'm waiting to see what the numbers are on this deal. The real problem with this team is clearly the defense. I didn't want the bears to draft a QB in the first round, but they should probably try to pick one up in the 3rd-4th round. I don't think McCown will be back so I feel the bears are going to need a backup. I would have been happy with a 3 yr deal for Jay but if that's all the bears were going to offer then he was a goner because somebody else like Tennessee or Houston would have given him a longer deal. I just want a QB thats going to be healthy all season. Hopefully we can see a few healthy seasons for Jay and then I will be happier with this deal.
-
I would have loved to see Manziel but I think he will be off the board before the Bears even pick. I'd love to see them pick Garappolo out of EIU or maybe AJ Mccarron falls a few rounds and they groom one of them under Cutler.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 2, 2014 -> 09:44 AM) No reason they can't take one. The Packers still do it every year. True, I just don't want Cutler to be the guy for the foreseeable future. I'm nervous to see what the financial terms of this deal are.
-
Damn....I really wanted a QB in this year's draft.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 01:48 PM) Wait, what? Yeah, it sucks. I beat OKC in a seven game series to advance to the conference semis, and it pulls up the schedule and wont let me advance to any games. I'm just sort of stuck there. I'm not alone in having this bug.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 12:06 PM) My f***ing Lord is NBA 2k14 on next gen f***ing incredible. It is. But...just wait until you've played a whole 82 game season, win a first round playoff series in 7 games, and then not be able to advance to the next round because of a bug in the game. That's where I'm at. It's depressing and very frustrating.

Sox trade Addison Reed to Diamondbacks for 3b Matt Davidson
Sonik22 replied to dayan024's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Jason Parks @ProfessorParks 1m I'm not a big Davidson fan, which is to say I never really loved the profile or the stick. Not a 1st division player. I'd rather have Reed. -
Has anybody been watching American Horror Story this season? So far I think the story has been pretty decent and I like all the characters. One of the best shows on TV, hands down. I can only compare this season to the first since I caught onto the show late and watched season one on netflix and then have been watching season 3 from the start. Season 2 just got put on netflix to stream so I'll be starting that probably once this season is over.
