Wow. With all the negativity I've read on here all winter and spring I can't believe I'm the only one going wins 70-73 wins, though I can imagine even worse. I've got a real bad feeling about this year and I so hope I'm wrong. Maybe it's just that I'm totally miffed that Uribe is still on this team. Defensively the Sox are pretty darn good. Offensively pretty darn below average. I foresee a lot of those homers and not much else type games. Pitching....ugh. Contreras, Floyd and Danks scare the crap out of me although they probably don't have that effect on the rest of the AL. As for the bullpen, nothing but a bunch of question marks and ho-hums aside from Jenks.

So it ends in a 10 inning 4-4 tie. Logan, Thornton, MacDougal and Cassel all combined for scoreless relief....YAY!

I never acted like an obnoxious a**hole. I never wanted to fight everybody in sight. It never made me rude to people. But, I see this behavior in an awful lot of drunks. Pot can be great. I had some great times stoned. I wouldn't ever say to anyone, "Don't smoke pot or you could end up like I did". That'd be stupid. But to assume, that pot should be legal and easily available to anyone and everyone is also, in my opinion, stupid. It's a hallucinogenic drug.. And driving stoned? Not a good idea. For sure, not as bad as driving drunk, but still not a smart thing to do.

I hear you. I'm currently in 1st place in my two basketball leagues (incl. a Soxtalk League) and I have the most moves in both leagues. That said, I am in favor of a max. just to avoid a ridiculous amount of moves.

Monday seems to be fine with everyone but joeynach and I feel bad for him but it's hard to please absolutely everyone. Probably no matter what time it is someone can't make it, that's what sucks.

I'm sorry to hear this. I first bought the game in the mid-70's. My brother and I drove up to Lake Geneva and went to his house. At the time he was a shoe repairman and worked out of his basement. At that particular time I believe that was about the only way to purchase the game. He had just put it out. Anyway, some years later I moved to Lake Geneva which is where I met my wife. It turned out she knew several of Gygax's kids and played over at their house all the time. Kinda weird. My brother still lives up there and had Gygax over at his house last summer and interviewed him for some film he was making. Gygax was definitely eccentric but a genuinely nice guy. RIP.

I'm ok with the new draft time. I'm off on Mondays. IF it changes again to any other day, I'm only ok with mornings. Hypothetically, what happens if one guy has not signed up yet by draft time? I only ask because I see we're still 3 short.
