Birmingham wound up winning 6-4, Whisler (6-11, 5.09) got the W. Great Falls is up 12-5 in the 8th. They've pounded out 17 hits. Mead and Paiml are both 4-5 with 2 doubles. GF has been a fun team to follow this year. They have some talented prospects.

Winston-Salem lost 7-5. Schnur went deep. Link made his debut and pitched 1.2 inn., 1 hit and a K. Kanny split a double-header, winning 12-3 and losing 4-1.
