  1. I can't believe we have a complaining about attendance thread in April. Wait, yeah I can believe it.
  2. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 7, 2013 -> 02:14 PM) Lindstrom was a hell of a pickup. He really was. I like this guy a lot.
  3. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 7, 2013 -> 02:00 PM) remember when we hated rios? Remember when Rios sucked?
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 7, 2013 -> 10:25 AM) ^ Brittany Fletcher is marrying her dad. Things just got creepy. That you know Beckham's fiancee's name is Brittany is kinda creepy.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 6, 2013 -> 05:42 PM) Still, give him the day off tomorrow and play Conor again. Right on. I think Gillaspie probably made a few new fans today.
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 6, 2013 -> 03:10 PM) Great job by Axelrod. Maybe the start time and the wind was an equalizer. We'll take it. King Felix, ha. I give you, King Axelrod.
  7. Might as well go with the smokin' hot bat of Gordon Beckham.
  8. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Apr 4, 2013 -> 02:58 PM) If I'm taking a positive from today, it's Flowers and Gordon. Yeah and Floyd was decent. With some run support maybe he'd have a W. Hector was good, too. I don't want to think of the bad things...I get too pi$$ed off.
  9. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 3, 2013 -> 01:42 PM) Im not sure the Astros are going to score ever again this year. Until they face ErvIn Santana, at least.
  10. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 2, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) What Jake said there was well said. I also agree. Ditto. I especially liked "In the end, I watch lots of Sox games by myself. Hawk is like my old buddy watching the game with me. Sometimes he says things I don't agree with, are silly, or predictable. More often, though, I feel good knowing I have a guy who is at least as invested as me if not more and is not afraid to show it.". I agree so much with that.
  11. I didn't think much of Sale anyway. He sucked.
  12. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 1, 2013 -> 12:40 PM) If knight does PTC retroactive to todays game I am picking Dunn for the opener I'll go with Alex Rios.
  13. Opening day historical fact: The last time a season started without Paul Konerko in the lineup Robin Ventura was playing 3rd and Jaime Navarro (!!) was the starting pitcher.
  14. QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Apr 1, 2013 -> 11:41 AM) I have been at 42 of last 43 openers-couldn't go today, but was in Milwaukee Saturday for the game, and going Wednesday. Does it count? Were you the guy at the '74 opener that ran on to the field wearing nothing but sneakers and a Sox hat and did a handstand in CF? Seriously, that's quite a streak.
  15. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 1, 2013 -> 08:29 AM) For the first time since 2003, I will not be at Opening Day. Sad. Still though... GO YOU WHITE SOX!!! The Royals' rotation behind Shields is a joke. If they win today, they should win the series pretty easily. Last time I went to an Opener, Ron Santo was the DH. That said..... GO WHITE SOX!!!
  16. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Apr 1, 2013 -> 08:27 AM) Agreed that GOT was kind of a catch up episode, but so stoked to have it back that I don't care. Exactly how I felt about it and there's still catching up to do with several more characters.
  17. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 31, 2013 -> 10:53 PM) GOT with a nice start as well. I'm about to watch that right now.
  18. I thought it was really good.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 30, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) a legitimate go-to guy would've been nice to have today. Bulls used to have one. That was before his recent sex change. Lol, yep.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 30, 2013 -> 02:42 PM) Game was at least entertaining. Nate went nuts. I sometimes forget how utterly incredible and unique Dirk is. There's never been a 7 footer like him. It was a totally fun game to watch but the last 3 minutes or so were just brutal, really frustrating to watch the bulls last couple of possessions.
