  1. This may have been mentioned already, but is there any major sports franchise that even comes close to how many moves the Rochester/Cincinnati/Kansas City/Sacramento/Seattle Royals/Kings/Sonics have undergone?
  2. Just got back from the Bulls game. What a blast! Boozer came up huge in the 4th. Quite a few Bulls fans there; a lot more than when I saw the Bulls here in Rose's rookie season.
  3. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 10:21 PM) This Denver team is fun to watch Maybe against somebody other than the Bulls, but I didn't have any fun watching that. I'm going to the game tonight against the Jazz. I hope for a better Bulls' performance.
  4. Reg Presley lead singer of The Troggs ("Wild Thing") died of cancer. He was 71. The Troggs were one of my favorite bands back in the day. They did a lot more good stuff besides "Wild Thing". Some friends and I formed a garage band in the summer of 1966, when "Wild Thing" came out and that was one song of about a dozen songs we could play. We weren't that good. Anyway, Reg Presley was a hero. RIP.
  5. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 07:16 PM) Bulls got badly hosed on an out of bounds call there Yep. With the Bulls down I think 4 at the time, that pretty much killed 'em.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 2, 2013 -> 09:55 AM) Am I the only who hates the 83 unis? No you're not. I hated them then and I still hate them. Well, maybe hate is a little strong but....yeah.
  7. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 1, 2013 -> 08:21 PM) Digging this Parquet Courts album. "Stoned and Starving" is great! I'll have to hear the rest of the album.
  8. What an exciting off-season it has been!!
  9. Yep, leavin' your prom date to watch the Sox cinched it for me.
  10. QUOTE (3E8 @ Jan 29, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) It's like "The O.C." but set 100 years ago and not as good. Are you saying Downton Abbey isn't as good as the O.C.? If you are, then woah.
  11. Noah has been rebounding lately like as if he's Dennis Rodman.
  12. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 10:48 AM) The day the Sox stop wearing black and silver is the day I stop being a white sox fan. Seriously, why are a lot of people unappreciative of the iconic uniforms the sox wear right now? Why do people want the white sox to wear blue??? Hell, it was nauseating last season when I had to put up with the sox wearing those stupid red uniforms on Sunday home games. It really did piss me off, because Sunday games were games I was able to watch on tv during my hectic schedule, and I get confronted with them wearing stupid red uniforms that the Red Sox should be wearing. I hope you're kidding about quitting being a Sox fan because of a uniform change because that's ridiculous. Did I quit being a fan when the Sox started wearing the powder blue uniforms in 1964 or whenever it was? No. I actually kinda liked 'em. I loved the red uniforms of the Dick Allen era. That just happened to be my favorite Sox era anyway. I wasn't too fond of the old-style uniforms Bill Veeck changed to in 1976, though I did like the old-school lettering. Again, I didn't like the uniform change in 1982 though I was happy for a change, just didn't like the uniform they decided on. I think it's pretty dumb to get upset about throwback uniforms that are worn once in awhile. Guess you don't really appreciate White Sox history.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 26, 2013 -> 06:29 PM) WTF Bulls? Helluva 3rd quarter, huh?
  14. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 22, 2013 -> 09:33 AM) Story. I got all teary-eyed reading that. What a great guy!
  15. This off-season just keeps getting better and better.
  16. Glad they won. I've always liked Kirk but good god, enough is enough.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 21, 2013 -> 06:47 AM) Downton Abbey is the most consistently-entertaining program on television. It is. I've already seen this entire season and I'm enjoying it just as much all over again.
  18. Hardly exciting but a good pickup nonetheless.
  19. I enjoy your posts, Floridafan. You better keep posting. It's really cool that a family member of a prospect gets involved here and can provide us with some real insight on that prospect and more. Good luck to Eric this year!!
  20. Jimmy Carter and I would hope we would have pecan pie for dessert.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 14, 2013 -> 08:56 PM) Kornel David was your leading scorer that night. Bulls' shooting pct. that night was SICK.
  22. Mike Scott lead the Hawks with a whopping 10 pts.
