It is good to know the Cubs suck too. We just suck so much more. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:14 PM) If they ever had a "gun to head" smiley, I would want that back Today is the reason I will not let myself own a gun

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) WTF are you high on? There's no f***ing reason to trade him when his value is as low as it can go. If and when he turns it around he's secured for a respectable deal. The very minute that McDougal finishes a good innings and shows the slightest glimmer of hope, trade his ass. That is what I am high on. It is called reality.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) I never thought I'd be this calm after getting swept by the Cubs. Oh well....at least soxtalk is here for us to discuss things. I feel the need to break something myself. Anybody know where Ronnie Woo Woo lives?

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:05 PM) He'd be throwing 96 mph again, but he'd hurt himself in no time. And if we trade Mcdougal to the Cubs, maybe we can get another future #2 or #3 starter for a failing reliever. *see Matt Karchner trade

Trade McDougal NOW, before he sucks again. Just don't trade him for Jock Jones.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) Unless it's for Murton, I don't want to give them MacDougal. I think with him on the mound today, he won't be getting traded to the Cubs. If Coop can't fix him, Rothchild will.

The Greg Walker Lynch mob thread
Just a random thought. Let's fire Joey Cora. It's Ozzie's best friend, and he has enabled many of Ozzie's brain farts (ie Pagan).

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 03:58 PM) In the next series, we face Kazmir, JP Howell and Shields. Our batters are probably just busting at the chomps to get a hold of that after facing the dynamite Cubs pitching. Give Greg Walker an extension!

If I were at the game, I think I might feel the urge to start throwing s*** (or Cub fans) on the field.

Enough of protecting "Ozze's Buddies". Even bad team luck into runs against bad teams periodically. SOmebody needs to be unemployed after this weekend.

The Greg Walker Lynch mob thread
The more I think about it, Greg Walker was never a good smart hitter as a player. Who thought it was a good idea to make him a hitting coach? Baines would have seem to have been a better hitting coach than Walker. Hell Mark Salas was just as good of a hitter as Walker and he actually understands the psychology of pitchers.
