IT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!
Only 7 runs and 11 hits. They are seriously slacking. Glad to see them win one from behind, shows a lot of character.

Give Kenny Williams credit
QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 07:09 PM) Apparently a repeat... Even then he would still question why Sweeney was not on the team.

KW is definitely smiling now. I'm sure this is how he envisioned the team. Great job! Your job is safe until the next losing streak, lol.

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:56 PM) They need to keep this up. The more distance we can put between the sox and the rest of the AL Central the better. Its a nice cushion for later. Right now we are 5.5 over MIN, 8.5 over CLE, and 10 over DET while 10 games over .500. Who would've thunk it?

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:55 PM) Honestly, with as amazing as our offense has been this series, the defense has been equally as impressive. and the pitching hasn't been too shabby either.

QUOTE (JFields27 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:55 PM) First time since July 2000 scoring 10+ runs in 3 straight games .. damn How about 54 runs in the last 6 games.

Fitting to end a game like this with a great defensive stop by Crede!

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) If we do the four game sweep it will be such a sweet feeling Back to back sweeps against divisional opponents and a 7 game win streak would definitely be sweet.

QUOTE (JFields27 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) Loaiza gets the 9th? Might as well get him some work to see what he has left.

6/8 - Sox vs. MIN, 1:05 CT, CSN
The Sox 7-8-9 hitters are 21 for 35 in this series with 16 runs, 19 RBI, 3 Doubles, and 6 HR's. That is some sick production from 7-8-9.

Gavin with a career high 9 K's. That was one area he needed to improve in to sustain his success.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:12 PM) has uribe even gotten in a game since hes been back? He played 2nd base for an inning vs TB on the 31st of May. He does not have an AB since May 15th.

QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 03:06 PM) I love Ramirez... I remember when I was the only one at the beginning of the year who wanted to see him start every day at 2B. Stop, you were not "the only one". There was definitely a mix of opinions, but most just said they wanted to see him get regular ABs.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 8, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) Farmer and Stone said there's about 45 minutes left in the window for no rain. Has anyone heard something different? Looking at the radar, nothing major except for a small cell in DeKalb. Unless that picks up some steam, it will be about an hour before anything hits the game. Would be nice to get some quick innings just in case.
