It's just too easy to make these kinds allegations, even if it never makes it to court, the seed of doubt on someone's character has been planted. On the other hand, what's the solution? Penalties, even jail time for making false accusations? It's difficult enough for women who have been raped to come forward, we don't need anything else making them afraid to do so. It's an unfortunate situation all the way around. Which is a good argument for accusations not being made public until the accused is convicted of a crime.

So very sad. Prayers for her, her friends, family, and anyone who's life this this beautiful little girl touched. I'm guessing it was many.
