QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:49 PM) They don't sell Cubs/Sox tickets to the public. You had to buy at least a 13 game package to get them in 2005. It will probably be worse for 2006. Good grief.. I had no idea. I'm glad I don't have to worry about that crap.

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) For every game? Those are the 3 games I want for next yr. Also, do they go on sale when the regular Sox tickets go on sale? No. Regular season tickets will go on sale about Soxfest minus that series. That series goes on sale right about the start of the season.

QUOTE(BDavisFutureHOF @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) Now -- my question is -- Will non ticket holders be allowed to remain in the parking lot -- boozin it up -- for the duration of the game? No. That is never allowed. Keep reading..

I can't wait to see the reactions of some of you if you get a call from the Sox today, tomorrow, or even Thursday telling you to come pick up your WS tickets and '06 Season Ticket package.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) If Natalie is anything like my rep, serious lag time wouldn't be out of the question. My rep actually called me a couple of weeks ago for the first time in 3 years. He wanted to know if I'd be interesting in moving up a few rows. Once again I am not kidding. Uh.. Dick.. to email/call at the START of the SECOUND ROUND of playoffs inquiring about a ticket offer that got you tickets for the DS, CS, and WS... That's just plain dense. And you need to suck it up and complain about Natalie.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) If I can't find some tix at a reasonable price, I'll be in the city for the two games so I'm down for watching a game someplace with tons of Sox fans. You're booked Saturday night and Sunday.

QUOTE(agame @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:52 PM) I mean during the playoffs as well. I got in touch with someone a couple of weeks ago to ask about this offer because I was interested in doing it and knew it was offered at some point but the account representative said it was no longer valid. Ahhhh*bs*choo...

QUOTE(Sox1422 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:58 PM) I got 1 ticket to game 2 My F'n sister called the Fine Arts Center in Boston and they sold her 4 to game 2 and 4 to game 6 (on her friends credit card). Unbelievable. Hopefully they don't match the billing address otherwise both orders will be cancelled.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) Yes, but it usually takes some time. It may be a mail in program, a stop by the box office, etc. In all cases you will need your original tickets. You will also lose the TM surcharges. The clubs usually only refund the face value. I got back all but shipping from DS tickets.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:36 PM) Now that surprises me. I would think that teams would have a choice about whether they choose to sell on the open market or conduct a "lottery" like the Astros did. MLB controls CS and WS tickets.
-
QUOTE(agame @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:27 PM) I agree, Their infrastructure is obviously not setup to handle this. They should've offered the deal throughout yhe playoffs. Uhhh.. they did. :headshake
-
QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:32 PM) The right person is Tom Sheridan. Call him and leave Brooks the f*** alone. And while I'm at it.. the Sox don't control who has a lottery either. MLB does. They control CS and WS ticket sales. Call Bud and complain to him.
-
QUOTE(SnB @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:28 PM) i understand that, but he's still part of the organization and can send the complaints onto the right person and whatnot. The right person is Tom Sheridan. Call him and leave Brooks the f*** alone.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:14 PM) still on hold with ticketmaster cinci Arizona and Seattle here..
-
QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 12:08 PM) damn, only one window in browser allowed. wish i would have known this before! You did.. we told you several times.
-
QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:16 AM) when they went on sale to the general public? huh thats pretty kool. ok but i guess then what it really comes down to is that it's a freakin crap shoot. steff, going back to the guy's original question, should u still just put best avail then? That's what I would do. Good luck everyone..
-
QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:13 AM) i havent talked to anyone who's had a different experience... well ok fine if you're literally the first person to get tickets maybe you will get something other than UD but... i dunno the chances are infintesimally small A different experience.. they haven't even gone on sale yet. Several people HERE got lowers for the ALCS.
-
QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:10 AM) you'll only be ABLE to get upper reserved edit: sorry i made it sound as if it's likely to get tickets... i should rephrase. IF you get tickets they'll be upper reserved. no question. That is not true.
-
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:04 AM) That's good that they announced that after the fact. Watch some TV Sqwert..
-
QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 11:03 AM) did anyone else know that you could of went down to the cell today and purchased this package at the cell box office...they just announced this on CLTV That was all over the news last night as well as news cameras were there and they interviewed Brooks. Maybe if you guys got off the internet once in a while...
-
Whatever you do.. IF you get them from one source do NOT try to buy them from a second source. Both orders will be cancelled if the CC's match.
-
QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 10:32 AM) Because they only had one day to do this? I guarantee you that this was hatched on the plane ride home... No.. it was hatched 3 months ago with the initial offer. We've been asking for the same buying allowance as the DS and CS since then. No dice.
-
QUOTE(That funky motion @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) I had a weekend package this year. I just dont understand why they would'nt contact people like myself, that have bought something before. They instead release the info to everyone, and I get screwed. This is a team that was crying for fans to but tickets, then reward them by lumping them together with everyone else!!! I just don't see the harm in giving the people that have been loyal to you a chance before anyone else! Yea... that's a question I asked. As a full season holder I did feel that I should have been given the opportunity to buy more first.
