QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) I must be going to hell, I can't stop laughing at that. Ditto...

QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 03:20 PM) http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/faultstates.htm This is a better link & simple logic proves my point. If a state is no-fault that means any reason including adultery may be admitted for grounds in seeking a divorce. If a state requires a fault grounds for divorce include cruel and abusive treatment, adultery, abandonment, and other types of misconduct. Hence all 50 states recognize adultery as a grounds for divorce :rolly Whatever word you want to use, asserting, recognizing or whatever the point is that adultery is more than sufficient grounds to sue for divorce in all 50 states. Which is exactly the point to my earlier post. Sorry but I'm not a mind reader and I can only comment on the bs you post that I can see with my eyes and not assume that you mean something else other than what you actually posted. Adultry as a grounds for divorce is NOT on the books in 22 states.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 03:18 PM) I thought those meetings didn't happen until after he dies/gives up the seat? I am sure there is likely a favorite, but I wonder if any of us would ever be privy to that... I have no idea of the process. Maybe they can appoint a chick to straighten things out..

Do they already have a "next in line" picked..??

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) Perhaps since Bonds can no longer use, he is afraid his numbers are going to drop substantially now and prefers to go out with a great season. Please Aboz... check out the 8 years previous to when he is accused of using.. he was feared then, and well on his way to the HOF.

QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 02:19 PM) http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/faultstates.htm This is a better link & simple logic proves my point. If a state requires a fault grounds for divorce include cruel and abusive treatment, adultery, abandonment, and other types of misconduct. Hence all 50 states recognize adultery as a grounds for divorce :rolly Ahhh.. now we're "recognizing"... :rolly The laws in 22 states in the US do NOT have "adultry" on their books. Reasons in the remaining states define dissolution request as anything from irreconcilable differences to mental cruality.. the point is that divorce on the "grounds of adultry" is not on the books in all 50 states, which is all I said in the first place.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) Chill Steff. Believe it or not, others can come up with factual Sox nuggets as well. This was the most recent update and it merited some serious consideration. goof. :headshake Uhh... yea.. right back atcha. And there was no need to call me a goof.

QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) I see Staff is resorting to name-calling. Very typical from her kind. When she doesn't have anything logical or factual to state to support her obviously biased opinion that's her typical route. Where did I call you a name..? Typical.. so be it. But when playing with kids I feel it's best to get down and play at their level. As for my opinion.. I don't have anything to support it because I don't have an opinion as to what should happen to her.. I also have not voted in this pole. All I've said is that it is my opinon that I wouldn't want to live like that. An opinion about me, myself, and I. I choose not to attempt to play God with others and force my opinions on others.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:54 PM) So, Terry was in this condition, still married to her husband, he has an affair, has 2 kids outside of his marriage and now wants to unplug Terry so he can marry this other broad? So, can't he just divorce Terry and hand her over to her parents since for some reason they think she's gonna recover? Sorry, I know nothing about this case. Ummm.. no. He's been fighting this fight for the past 7 years once the doctors told him there was no chance for her to improve. This after years of therapy, and mucho dinero as well. Supposedly it was Terry's wish not to live like this if there was no hope of her getting better. Once that was established is when he started the process of taking the feeding tube from her.

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:48 PM) Steff, did TQ tell you where our seats are for the Friday Brewer game? We are staying in town and I'm trying to get him to leave here early so we can spend the bulk of the day in Milwaukee. Wasn't sure if you guys had discussed meeting up ... ? Not yet. Still waiting on suite avalibility.... I'll push to get confirmation on that over the next couple days and let you guys know. We'll talk either way.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:45 PM) He has two kids by another woman now. I am not sure if they want to marry or not. He's been with her for 9 or 10 years, IIRC.. and in the begining Terry's parents supported and encouraged him to move forward with the relationship - per their website entries from years ago.

QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:45 PM) Steff, that link has dead links when it comes to the actual divorce law in the states. A 2 line addendum concentrating on whether a state has no fault divorce or not does not suffice as evidence to the contrary. :rolly :dips*** smiley

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) I'm glad Steff is picking on someone else for once and not me! :rolly I'm saving yours for 5/7.

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:31 PM) What's a "mornic" scout? What a stupid post. ROTFLMAO!!!
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:33 PM) No the problem is yours. First your assumption that what is posted is truthful. Secondly the probability that any one is going to discuss their acts of adultery behind their spouses back here are pretty small. It's simply ridiculous to suggest such a notion. All you can say is that you arrive at some general basis of what posters believe or disbelieve in by the nature of their posts. Any notion to extend that knowledge to a real world sense is foolish. You need first hand real world experience with the person for that sense. I think I'll take the word of strangers before I take your posts filled with bulls***, half truths, and total disregard to fact checking.
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:28 PM) You clearly misunderstood. There were 20 decisions in all (counting Mon/Tues). Not all of them were in favor of Michael. If they had been we would never have reached 20! (simple logic). :rolly Wow.. have you even bothered to read the case ruling history...?? You are so wrong.
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) =============================================== Please name one state where adultery is not sufficient grounds for divorce. Arizona, California. Colorado, FLORIDA...... to name a few http://patriot.net/~crouch/50states/
-
QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) You might think that's a perfectly logical statement but it's not. It implies directly that everyone around here knows enough about you to where they could make a judgement on that. Unless you're going around spreading that information to every poster on this board that's pretty a ridiculous assumption. Maybe it's just you with comprehension problems then... I know quite a bit about those with spouses and families from the posts that they make here.. and I'd guess it's vice versa with those that bother to pay attention.

Pffttt. cheapo... go for the Bellagio or the Venetian... Seriously, I stayed at the Rio when it first opened. Never for a bachelor party though.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) This is the official update of Mark's injury as of 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005. It appears that yesterday's reports of a injury lasting anywhere from 4-6 weeks were way off. Now, it is expected that Mark will miss only one SPRING TRAINING start and will throw a bullpen session either torday or tomorrow. Obviously, this mean he could be back in time for opening day. Wow. Per ESPN Radio NATIONAL sportcenter . Woah.. no way. :rolly

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 11:52 AM) Take it easy Jugg. No need to start stuff like that regardless of whether she isn't or is. Oh.. I don't mind one bit. Anyone with a half a f***ing brain around here knows which side of the fidelity train I ride on.
