  1. Yeah, mine do that too. That crunching noise is incredibly annoying and I've had that problem with my last two pairs of Nike shoes. I'll probably switch over to adidas or something because the noise sounds like a fart sometimes.

    Umm, WTF?

That was awesome! It's perfect that they used Saget also, makes it all the more hilarious.
  3. QUOTE(Wedge @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) we could always sign "Thriller" Jackson, couldn't we?
  4. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 08:12 AM) Even better was his assessment of the Miami Heat in the playoffs in Dwyane Wade's first year. He called them out, said they shouldnt have been there, called them a fluke, said they had no chance. After they won the first playoff series, they cut to the post-game show and the whole cast was just staring at him, he looked like he wanted to crawl under the table and hide. His tone was very soft-spoken and complimentary, and Greg Anthony just kept zinging him, it was hilarious. I take particular enjoyment when guys like him get their comeuppance after telling everyone else that they are wrong. Stephen A. is a tool. A teacher at my school and I always make fun of him during the day, he is a terrible analyst and sounds like an idiot whenever he speaks.
  5. In this past week the tigers have generally been losing when we have, also, JOE CREDEEEEEEEEEEEE (in my best hawk voice)
  6. QUOTE(greg775 @ May 29, 2006 -> 05:37 PM) Congrats! By the way, when he passes Yaz, u can count on a long story about how great Yaz was from Hawk. Congrats Jim Thome! And I'm glad Hawk will talk about Yaz. I love Hawk's stories. It's what makes him the best play by play man in the game. I wholeheartedly agree.
  7. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 29, 2006 -> 05:31 PM) Wouldn't it kick ass if he did it this season? Just saying. Yes, it would kick ass.
  8. some people are wierd as hell.
  9. I say that Big Jim ends up around the McCovey, Foxx, Mantle area. Thats some very, very impressive company. What a great career Thome has had, hopefully he can finish it here on the south side.
  10. Congrats! By the way, when he passes Yaz, u can count on a long story about how great Yaz was from Hawk.
  11. The one thing that worries me about Ohio State this year is that we have such an inexperienced defense. Sure, as the season goes on, I think they will be molded into a great unit, but at the beginning of the season, when they have to match up with Texas and Iowa, not to mention on the road and at night, we may have to outscore the other team, and that is not a recipe for success. But I still think if our offense can carry us through the beginning of the season, we have a great chance to win it all.
  12. The "Bush Push" was complete bulls***. There is no way in hell that should be the number one play in college football, it should not be in the top 100! Thats just another example of the media's love affair with USC.
  13. Well, watching the game on saturday I noticed that Freddy wasnt pushing off his back foot at all. I dont remember whether this is part of his normal throwing motion or not, but that could be what is up with his velocity. Maybe his leg is bothering him.

  15. I mean, u just gotta go with our good ole buddy Mark L. Johnson
  16. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 06:43 PM) That's what you get for reading the box score. The game was a sellout from even just season ticket sales. There were so few ticket available that the general public never had a chance to purchase them. Next time try doing a little research.
  17. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 12:20 AM) I highly doubt it. I'm not trying to say it will happen, I'm just trying to say it would be a very similar situation. Iguchi is one of my favorite players and I would hate to see him play horrible this season. He was key in our success last year.
  18. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 11:11 PM) He has lapses on routine plays, but he's a very good hitter and in general a solid player. I expect him to be our starting 2nd baseman by mid-season. Wow, thats a pretty bold prediction. So are you thinking that Iguchi is going to have a disappointing year like Shingo did last year? If you think about it, it would be a similar situation having Cintron step in like Hermanson did last year at closer.
  19. QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) Heres a pic i found of the banner f***ing sweet That. Is. AWESOME! I was expecting one of those flags like they have for the other championships. I am going to be so proud while looking at that during games.
  20. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 08:47 PM) Jim Thome (ST stats): 38 AB .421 AVG .542 OBP .842 SLG 1.384 OPS 4 HR 9 RBI 9 BB 5 SO thats a thing of beauty. hopefully this carries over into the season like it did for juan uribe in 2004.
  21. i'll jump on, i'll my final 4 picks are wrong, and it would be pretty cool to see George Mason win it all.
