QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 12:09 PM) What?! I didnt see that, and you would think that this would have been shown on the replays and noticed by the announcers. Im callin "Da Bearsss" fan on this one. It didn't hit the ground. He bobbled it for a bit on the way down, but then got complete possesion of the ball before hitting the ground. The ball was in his hands the whole time, it was a great catch (well, it was made to look much harder than it should have been at least )

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 12:58 PM) I think dates and schedules are needed. Need to see who they play off their bye week. Who they play coming off weak teams and who they play coming off good teams. I'll go based pure off teams though. HOME San Francisco 4-12 - Win Seattle 13-3 * - Loss Buffalo 5-11 - Win Miami 9-7 - Loss Tampa 11-5 * - Win Detroit 5-11 - Win Green Bay 4-12 - Loss Minnesota 9-7 - Loss AWAY Arizona 5-11 - Win St. Louis 6-10 - Win New England 10-6 * - Loss NY Jets 4-12 - Win NY Giants 11-5 * - Win Detroit 5-11 - Win Green Bay 4-12 - Loss Minnesota 9-7 - Win 10-6 record which should be good enough to get in the playoffs. If Favre is back, Packers win that division. Minny is still a darkhorse though. How are the Bears 6-2 on the road, but 4-4 at home? They have always been a much better home team than road team.. Also, if Favre is back, the Packers win the division? Didn't he play this year, or was that someone just using his name and body?

QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 10:19 PM) Bears need a better Corner than Tillman, and Ends that stay home and not crash in every play. Briggs is a stud.. Urlacher does crap in big games. Yea, that interception was crap.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 10:07 PM) I'm guessing that Leonard Zelig is a Woody Allen fan, or at least a fan of quirky movies. Is apparently very proud to be from Texas (as shown by name and Texas flag in sig)

Bernard Berrian is my hero.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) I can't even describe the way Tillman has been playing. It's worse than a f***ing 4th corner could play. He hasn't done one thing right alllllllllll game. Imagine Damaso Marte playing football. I think thats a pretty good description of how Tillman has played.
-
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 06:17 PM) Tillman really blows the cock there. That one hurts, 2 possesions down. fixed.

This isn't looking good for the Colts so far. -
QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 06:40 PM) Just FYI. For those that missed out on getting a local Chicago newspaper for the World Series. The Tribune has back issues available for only 90 days. So you have until about the 24th of January if you still want to pick one up for the World Series win. The ALCS win is about to be out of the 90 day window. They are $10 a pop. Their number is 312-222-3080. Checking on the Sun-Times on Tuesday. Since I live in Jersey, my aunt collected all of the Sox newspaper clippings throughout their playoff run for me, and gave them to me over Christmas. They are extremely cool

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 12, 2006 -> 09:40 PM) Personally, I find the lasso tool gives you a much cleaner look than the eraser as does the edge finder. I agree, I don't like the eraser nearly as much as the lasso tools. Also, nice new Bears sig + Tommie Harris avatar

No, he just wants it to look like this, but wit the WS 05 thing instead of the Sox logo: QUOTE(DePloderer @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 03:49 PM)

While I agree he's been snubbed, and is deserving of the HOF, I think its pretty classless to rip the voters and players who have already been elected.

I always use the nickname Felix, mainly because I used to go by another nick (on another forum) while using a felix the cat avatar, and gained the nickname Felix from the avatar. I also like cats

Has a name using a players old number.

As a Bears fan, I think yes, they will make the Super Bowl (I have the Redskins beating the Seahawks), but no, they will not win it.

QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:37 PM) Pete Carroll was a Head Coach in the NFL. Pete Carroll gameplanned for Vince Young. Ehh... look at what Young did to those gameplans. Those crazy ass blitz packages we were promised were dominated by Texas's offensive line. He read them all and knew what was going on. Fixed
-
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:34 PM) Hes that kind of player who dominate College Defenses, but then once the Pro's start gameplanning for him he loses his edge. And again, you say Young is going to be the best QB in the draft? That right there is the exact reason he will not be that good in the pros.
-
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:25 PM) could he throw any more like a b****? And you are saying Vince Young is the best QB? Yep, nothing about his career 71:11 TD:INT ratio says NFL QB
-
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:26 PM) This isnt where I think they go in the draft, this is how I rank em. Lienart has a very weak arm compared to Cutler and Young. Vince Young is the best QB for the Pro's Ive seen other than Carson Palmer. Young > Bush... and it isnt close for me. If Young can become a better pocket passer, then yea, he'd be a great QB in the pros. I dont think he's anywhere near being a passer for the NFL, so I don't really see him going anywhere. He's also not going to have the type of offensive line he had in college, something he relies on. Time will tell I guess.

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 08:09 PM) I didn't know that Anthrax was born in 1977? So you were around for the Darryl Strawberry baseball card craze, just like me. That's all it was, man. He was never a great hitter. Gooden, on the other hand, had the tools, just not the longevity. Both guys shouldn't even get a single vote, let alone make it to the HOF. Well, he was a good power hitter for the first half of his career, but past that, he's nothing. Up until 1991 (when he was 29), he might have been considered a HOFer, but considering he was a nothing past that. In other words, you are right

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:17 PM) No Omar Jacobs? He's going to be the sleeper of this years draft. Whatever team takes him will have a fine quarterback to groom for the future.
-
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) QB: 1. Vince Young Texas 2. Jay Cutler Vanderbilt 3. Matt Lienart USC Leinart third? I highly doubt that. Even with the way Young played in the Rose Bowl, I still see Leinart being the first QB drafted, and the best of the class. Posluszny My brother goes to PSU, so I support them, and it took awhile to remember how to spell his name QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) I want Alan Zemaitis personally. He's a Tillman clone except a better nose for the ball. Terrific player, gets calleed overrated b/c he supposedly "doesnt carry a 2nd gear".. but is a strong and aggresive. Believe me, he will play WR's like Chad Johnson and Marvin Harrison and shut them down. His kryptonite is Santana Moss, Kevin Curtis... that type of WR. Zematis is great. I would love to see him on the Bears, although I doubt he'd fall to the Bears pick in the second round
