  1. Leaving the house to head to the Cell now. Hoping for an end to this tailspin and a good outing from Freddy. An early offensive explosion on Koronka would be nice too....
  2. QUOTE(daa84 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 10:00 PM) yeah seriously, i cant remember the last time podesdnik has been on base, and ive been like wow...look at how much of a headache he is to the opposing pitcher, probably before he hurt his groin pre allstar game last year He has been painful to watch (for the most part) the entire season. As much as I liked him last year, I am starting to see him as a liability more than anything else. It almost seems like the days of him being a "firestarter" are long gone. There are a lot of things wrong right now that need to be rectified, soon.
  3. I would love to hear these tapes. I think it would be great to fully expose this tool for what he really is.
  4. Keep it going..... Big day Javy...Big day....
  5. I'm in!!! To Detroit!!!!!!
  6. Thanks for giving up the extra two runs, Cliff....making the mountain that much higher.... JOE CREDE!!!!
  7. QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) We're 53-27. Get off the ledge. Wanting him out of here is not a demonstration of someone being "on the ledge". Its a demonstration of the fact that HE DOES NOT HAVE IT ANYMORE. I don't give a s*** if this team only had one loss. The way he gives up hits/runs is out of control. I don't give a f*** where he goes, I don't give a f*** how he gets there. He NEEDS to be gone. This bullpen was FINE while his sorry ass was on the DL and not in the picture. MAKE HIM GO AWAY.
  8. Say goodbye to Cliff everyone....he HAS to be done and gone.
  9. Time to beat this retarded, crazy-ass, lunatic up and down the northside today. I would love nothing more than to see him self destruct, and blow up (literally) all over the mound today. Lets get out the broom and put these sorry ass losers away... :finger Cubs!!!!
  10. Get the conga line on Maddux's old ass started early!!!!! Maybe tomorrow Dusty can get all teary eyed again, as he keeps looking above his head for the axe to appear.... :finger Cubs!!
  11. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) still the funiest one ever http://www.progressiveboink.com/dugout/arc...gout12-4-05.htm HAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it! I still have the original file of that video on my comp, watching it every so often to laugh my ass off. It never gets old....
  12. I was at the game last night and thought they played awesome. Reyes had some great stuff and was relatively untouchable, but the one shot by Thome was all we needed. I was very impressed by the way they flashed the leather and really got behind Freddy in what they knew was going to be a close game. As much as I hate comparing it to last year, it was very 2005-esque. Even when the bats were quiet, the defense and pitching kept them within striking distance and let the one opportunity they had (and took) be the only one they needed. It was a great game all the way around....
  13. Give me a break... :headshake I could have gone out there and knocked Mulder around a little bit and Marquis wasn't much more impressive than he. But of course, they were stealing signs and and if they deny it they were lying and Dave Duncan doesn't like liars.... Much like Duncan's comments, this sounds like whining from a bunch of babies that just got their asses kicked. This is pathetic.... :rolly
  14. Time for another win. Lets get another good outing out of Mark tonight, keep the bats rolling, and pick up a game on the Tigs....
  15. Leaving to head down there in like 30 minutes. C'mon Freddy, we need one of those sweat-your-ass-off, dominating starts out of you. Lets throw away your previous appearances against these fools and start fresh. I expect to own these b****es tonight!!! (Maybe a fastball up Belliard's ass as a parting gift too? )
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 05:45 PM) Poor Jon. He signs a 3 year $29 million contract, and the fans expect him to produce. I'm crying for him. Me too.... Jon, word to the wise....Shut the f*** up and pitch....you want to silence the media, do it with your arm. Prove that we should not have a thing to b**** about.... Be a mere shadow of the JG of '05 and we'll be satisfied...
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 10, 2006 -> 09:01 AM) Sec. 163, here I come. Rain, Rain, Stay Away! Section 162 for me, and I am undecided as to what is going to happen. Here's to hoping for a good game from Mark, because the conditions will be downright miserable.
  18. Great game and huge win!!! Now sweep these b****es out of town and put them where they belong!!!
  19. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) STOP SUCKING! True dat!! Its time to gently remove heads from asses and start playing like they are more than capable of playing. Lets turn this s*** around and beat up on some damn Rangers!!!
  20. ENOUGH OF THE BULLs***!!! Find the bats, learn how to run the bases correctly, and let the Count do his thing.... Its time to club the s*** out of the ugliest professional baseball player since Ron Karkovice!! (Still love your arm Karko, but damn you is ugly) Lets split this b**** and get back home!!!
  21. I don't want Thome playing first base at all. I was very pleased when Ozzie first said he would not be on the field, and very displeased when he backed off of that recently. He is too important of a piece and too "potentially" fragile to be toying around with on the field. What happens if the first ball he dives for re-injures him? We are up s***'s creek at that point. I think using him as a PH off the bench is the way to go. Beyond that, I think its just too risky.
