I only wish I could be there to help him pack his bags. Bye bye Damaso, and good riddance. Nice work KW...Mack is going to be a great asset to our bench.
-
My condolences as well, my thoughts are with you.

A-Row, man, thanks for all of the memories. From watching you start out, to meeting you in Boston last summer, to watching you grow as a very BIG part of this team this year, we as Sox fans owe you a big Thank you! I was crushed today when I saw the trade come across the bottom line, and even if it works out for the better, A-Row will always be a part of the magical team of '05. To the way you played, the way you hustled, and most of all the huge heart you posess! A-Row, this is for you...... Thank you.

QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 05:30 PM) I think you have to put Anderson in CF if Aaron is moved. I agree. I think Anderson is ready and would be a good fit should this be what we are presented with.

My wife and I are going down there. Her Grandfather lives in Tucson, so we will have a place to crash for free, which will be nice. I know they play the Cubs on 3/18 (the Cub schedule has already been released) so we are planning on flying in the 16th and staying until the 20th. Southwest has some great fares right now to Tucson.

Fantastic. I am going to make my wife print that out and post it all over her Cub-infested place of employment.

PAULIE! PAULIE! PAULIE!!!! What an awesome article. Especially in light of all the crap with TO, this speaks volumes as to how rare and awesome a guy like Konerko really is. Now we just gotta pray he doesn't go anywhere!

I can guarantee that I will be just as into it next year as this year. It was AWESOME winning this, don't get me wrong, but I don't think that this team is done yet. I think that what they built can either win some more or is at least set to contend for a while. That will be the fun part. I don't want to win this once and fade either. Hell, as it stands now, I can't wait for spring training to start!

QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Nov 1, 2005 -> 07:04 PM) one of my friends got this email "Currently, we only have full season locations available for sale. We are trying to get locations for 27 game plans this week, and the Ozzie Plan on-sale date has been pushed back to late November/early December" I got that same one today too. I am planning on buying the 27 game plan. The pricing info can be found here... http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...lans/prices.jsp

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) Rumor has it the Dems are going to filibuster this because of its stand on abortion. ROFLMAO! A very, very appropriate response.

A.J. running across Boone's back was hilarious. One of those moments where you just laugh, shake your head, and say, "f***in' A.J." That, and... The inning against Randy Johnson. I laughed so hard watching his ugly ass struggle and squirm on that mound, while the Sox players were giddy as hell.
-
Oh, the Hawk eyepatch was great! I think B&B called him, "Stretchy the One-eyed pirate" I thought that was appropriate. As for a Tat, I like the idea of just the present logo with some way of incorporating 2005 into it. I like the logo on the website, that might not be bad either.

Yes and No. Yes, because I too put life on hold for the month of October, including my job. That, and I think that my wife is glad to not be a baseball widow anymore. No, because I love baseball and love the Sox far more than any other sport. So now its just kind of like...hmm...what do I do until spring training. Either way, it was a hell of a way to end this season!
-
And they made him spew out more of the Fox contrived "curse" crap. It was cool to see him on there though....
-
Did they just say "Especially if they smoke pole???"

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) Ok, this better be it. Would you guys drill either one of these two? OMG, the fake Harrie Meier looks just like that creepy ass woman!! Good lord, hurry up PODS!!

QUOTE(SouthSidePride05 @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 10:57 PM) This show is like the Cubs organization. Idiots will always watch it, so no need to make it any better. This is the worst thing I've ever seen. Talk about lazy and pathetic! Agreed, this is the first time in like 7 years I have even had this show on. Who the hell are any of these people anyhow?
-
I am not quite sure how this s*** is still on the air.
-
What an asswipe. Thank you for posting that, I just laughed nonstop for about 15 minutes sorting through his drivel. God how much it had to suck for Zorn to put that together, because he had a lot more s*** to sift through.

QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 09:33 AM) Am I the only one who wouldnt touch Sheffield with a ten-foot pole? Hell no. Sheffield, while he may still be "somewhat" productive is an asshat. And in no comparison to AJ or Carl. While they might have both had reputations with very little real demonstration, Sheff has demonstrated it on more than one occasion. Be it in the media, with the fans, or just his demeanor. In a word, NO. Keep this jackass as far away from our team as is possible.

They were cool to see, she was HORRIBLE. Made me really chuckle when she started talking to Politte as though he was in front of her, and he was actually behind her and in back. I don't think she knew anyone there except A.J., Ozzie, and Kenny. But, hey, we got some Oprah love no less.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Oct 28, 2005 -> 08:14 PM) I think that AJ has had a good influence on him. Especially in the playoffs. We haven't had such a close knit group here like we have now. Joe, Po, and Row...do it! I agree!!! We never saw this loose, fun, and comical version of Joe Crede ever! Now its almost like he is not shy anymore, nor does he shy away from any attention. I think AJ may have just taught him not to give a s*** and just PLAY!
-
I agree. I think that we saw it happen after his injury, when he and Walker worked out the kinks in his swing. Lets face it, the glove has always been there, its his bat that has been suspect. I don't think that we will have to worry about him falling back to his .220 self. This is the new and improved version of Joe, the Rally-Crede!! He will shine!!

Thank you Kenny, Ozzie, and Jerry. Thank you TEAM! (and how often can that be said?) Thank you Soxtalk. This is still unbelievable.
