  1. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 28, 2007 -> 05:13 PM) Anything about striking out the Rockies Infidels? yeah, he said "jihad on the the national league! Allah praise the Designated Hitter!"
  2. well the 670 i get here isn't the one you guys get there. Unless farmer learned to speak arabic.
  3. haha right well if i lived in chicago one of those "radio" things might work
  4. i think february 4th was the superbowl, unless i'm mistaken. that's the moment i wanted the sox to start the most. actually right now is the moment i want them to start the most.
  5. oh NOOOOO!!! they aren't simulcasting the game on the score online. crap.
  6. sooooon! i've been aching for baseball ever since february 4th...
  7. I think Gooch would probably be the best at it, but it's an awful waste of his varied talents. It'd be great to see him lower in the order but it's sort of crowded down there, which is nice.
  8. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 03:58 PM) Cleveland unless the twins O and D are way better than last year. Detroit doesn't even belong in the same class as the other two. Gotta disagree...I think this is the year the Tigers pass Minny. Still, the Indians are the scariest.
  9. ohhh my god hurry up! you're giving me a heart attack, garcia
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) It was more like laying down and then touching the plate haha. Thome's scored a run in every game this year?! It's hard enough for a team to score in every game. It's hard enough for somebody to reach base every game. One man scoring in every game this season, are you kidding me? especially for someone who can't outrun his grandma
  11. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 03:46 PM) Huh? W=win...gonna get rained out if they don't have a quick few innings, is all. getting close now, though
  12. hurray for double plays! i want my W, not runs
  13. quit trying to put the bat on the ball and make 3 outs!
  14. haha that was a retarded-looking catch. at least it's an out, and a quick one
  15. hooray! baseball! beisbol has been betty betty good to me
  16. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) Where does Bill Walton get his heights from? Gordon 6' even, Deng 6'5"? Gordon is probably 6'2"--even thought the media guide says 6'3"-- and Deng is definately 6'9". bill walton is a joke. nothing he says is ever right.
  17. QUOTE(DABearSoX @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 08:06 PM) well i guess it doesn't really constitute sarcasm, but we all know "on pace" is a crock of s***. (Unless you're Barry Bonds) Barry's "on pace" to hit none...hooray!
  18. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 04:04 PM) You can't hide Logan all year. He's gonna have to be in those types of situations if he's gonna be in your bullpen. Or else why is he here? I'd rather him get experience in those types of spots now. My thoughts exactly. First pressure situation he's seen yet, and I'd rather now than September. Get him some pitches against good hitters in tight situations early, even if it is against the indians. Otherwise you'll never know when the time comes.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) If you're a 16 year old girl. or an '80's child
  20. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 03:22 PM) Haha. Chillax. I just consider asking about a rain-out as another glass half-empty kind of thing. chillax is pretty much the best word in human history
  21. QUOTE(Hanky Panky @ Apr 7, 2006 -> 02:48 PM) We just need to take two out of three from Kansas s***ty and then I'll be happy. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Twinkies beat the Injuns in their series. And how about Detroit? 15 HRs in the first three games??!! They need to cool off that offense. They broke the MLB record for most HRs hit in the first three games. Damn, I knew I should've picked up Chris Shelton as my fantasy catcher. is he C eligible?
  22. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 11:48 AM) Today's lineup, per Scott Reifert's blog... Today's Lineup Pods, LF Cintron, 2B Thome, DH PK, 1B Dye, RF AJ, C Crede, 3B Mackowiak, CF Uribe, SS Garcia pitching going by my MVP 2005 season, I love this lineup. Except Uribe's hitting like .340 so maybe move him up a little
  23. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Apr 4, 2006 -> 11:16 AM) I don't miss Jurassic Carl. too bad, you know we'll trade for him by the All-Star break.
