  1. So you'd be OK with TLR killing someone coming home from a White Sox game if he didn't?
  2. Because the only humanity that matters, are the one collecting checks from the White Sox.
  3. Wait? The Cubs? Did you even take a second on this ignorance? The same people who are Trump supporters? lol, sounds like this is much more up your alley. The kind of people that will do anything to protect their fortune, including sacrificing actual lives. The kind of people who put racist tropes into emails. If you think this reflects badly on me, that kind of makes me feel better because your opinion is one I don't want to be in league with.
  4. This vote isn't official because it isn't certified!!! No wait don't certify the vote!
  5. CNN is making the final election calls.
  6. Go back and read the post on the science here. By the time he was pulled over, the estimate is that his BAC was somewhere around .145. It was 3.5 hours until they got a court order and he got his blood test and the official 0.095 was tested.
  7. June 22nd the entire state of Indiana recorded 210 new cases. Today (my home county of about 100k people) LaPorte County collected 143 new cases, BY ITSELF. The state of Indiana recorded 6591 cases.
  8. At least until Tony gets fired, yes.
  9. I think for someone like Jose, they will take into account the time in Cuba, so the counting stats might not have to be as high as a full MLB career would be. Personaly? Can't see Jose as a HOF player without having this year be the first of 3 or 4 in a row of those types of a season.
  10. For the first time ever, I came within one race of being a full straight ticket voter. Typically my ballot looks like swiss cheese. This time around, I pulled for one GOP at the county level who I personally know well and absolutely adore for what he does in our community. I almost didn't vote for him, but if I didn't the person on the other side was a DUI arrest and a drug arrest who told the cop he should be fighting real crimes.
  11. And he is leading by 5 million votes, so there is also that.
  12. It is an individual decision, but I would have no problem with it in theory. I have always been in favor of players getting their contracts voided when it happens.
  13. Of course you have intentionally been missing the point for days now so that it took an extreme example to snap you back. So there are times where you would be willing to hurt workers in order to satisfy your moral compass. The point is, this is an acceptable form of protest, and it is something that should be used here. The reason you went to this one part of the example is so that you didn't have to agree outloud.
  14. NYT did call Arizona for BIden last night. The only states still hanging are GA and NC, with the first solidly Biden, the second to Trump. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/03/us/elections/results-arizona-president.html
  15. I literally said TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER. The point is people ARE willing to make economic decisions that will hurt people, for pure reasons. This is a normal and common activity, and there is nothing wrong with it. False equating the burden being on people making the decisions, instead of people who are supporting illegal and immoral activities through their employments is the full issue here.
  16. I can't believe this is still happening. Take it a step further. Would you buy cotton from slavers? Think of the poor slaves who might get beaten if the cotton doesn't get sold? Would you buy your wife a blood diamond? Think of all of the awful Africans who would lose their livelihoods? Do you search out products made by child labor? Think of all of hte kids supporting elderly parents in China with their dollar a day jobs in sweatshops? How about your drugs? Do you support the drug kingpins who keep your local dealers alive by keeping their supply up to date so they can feed their kids? Extreme? Illegal? Immoral? Sure but all are supporting families who really need the money. By punishing those illegal activities, you are hurting families who really need the money.
