Where ever he wants.

Sure, but doing it when you are in first place (or very close to it) is way different than doing it when you already suck.

White Flag is STILL reviled to this day, and we are almost 30 years on now. The crazy thing is that this is from a fan base which is WAY less optimistic than the Cubs one.

Its a best case scenario, they either piss off their fan base, or they push back their rebuild and make it more difficult.

Are we really talking about trading for mediocre guys like this? If so, I am not convinced that they would be better than the guys we have over the longer haul.

I have my IRA and personal account there. It does what I need it to do.

Did anything get said about Hamilton?

Uh oh, the bat signal just went out...

In addition to normal changes, we also have the sticky crackdown about to happen, so we really are going to see guys collapse mid season.

Giving away future pieces for a volatile piece is always a bad idea.

Vaughn is in the line up today.

Which is exactly why I am not giving up real talent for a guy who could suck the next day.

The pen is fine for the most part, they just need to pitch like it. There are some electric arms out there. They just need to get through whatever is going on. The worst thing they can go is overreact to SSS and trade real talent for relievers.

He was WAY over in right center when that ball was hit.

Dallas answered questions too, and no asked him about the early exit either.

"If you have no guts, get another job."

Ozzie going off on one asking about Dallas. Called the media "soft".

With the infield in, no one was getting to it.

8 game winning RBI this season, leading the AL.

The part that won't get talked about is that was a great piece of hitting. That pitch had heavy cut, and Yermin did a great job of getting his hands inside of that so he didn't jam shot it to 3rd.

Hopefully JR buys Yermin a new chain to celebrate his first career walk off hit.

Being realistic, with a five run lead, you shouldn't be using Bummer, let alone in the 7th. SOMEONE has got to be able to get low leverage middle relief outs. Whether that is Heuer, Marshall, or Foster, someone needs to step up.

So it's going to be one of THOSE games.

That's just creepy.
