I am going to say this out loud. This is someone we have seen before, with a new Twitter personality to hide that history. I have no inside knowledge, but the style and way this account popped up up out of no where seem obvious.

Wait, wat?

Two things should be really obvious. #1- The Sox believe that even a reduced percentage of Moncada is well ahead of a 100% Ryan Goins. #2- Yolmer Sanchez was signed for a reason. Once Madrigal comes back, I wouldn't be shocked to see Mendick shift over to 3rd, Madrigal take back 2B, and Yolmer take Moncada's roster spot for a 10 day stint.

1- The Sox have gone through a considerable number of infielders due to injuries. We started with Moncada, Anderson, and Leury. All three have missed time. Next in line were Danny Mendick, Nick Madrigal, Chestlor Cuthbert, and Ryan Goins. Madrigal has missed time due to injury. Mendick is playing every day due to Madrigal and Garcia missing time currently. Goins and Cuthbert suck. 2- In 2020 we are seeing a much higher than normal injury rate across MLB. You need more depth than ever, meaning there is no such thing as too many of these types of players right now. We have already used 7 different IFs. Yolmer would make #8 if he makes it here. 3- A lot of this has depending on health and injuries. There really hasn't been a time this year where the roster has allowed the Sox to run an infield out there with sub-par players on anything other than a single game basis.

I would love to see it for us, but Anaheim would have to quit laughing first.

For the record, no Madrigal in the starting line up today. Yoan and Mendick both still in.
