When is the presser?

You do realize a guy can both be the #1 prospect in baseball and be raw with some holes, right?

Accurate. It has been a team effort. Except for Rowand.

#HatGate

If there was a deal Lozano has no reason to meltdown for the media.

I thought he was signing with the Yankees, or at least that is what your last post said.

Hopefully you do well on the free agent market.

There could be some, but hopefully wouldn't be needed.

Now that is the creative type of building I expect a contract to have in it to get it done.

Who is that and why should anyone care what he thinks of the White Sox?

One more thought, with the release of the information we saw yesterday from the Machado agent, I think any hopes of this being days away from being are now officially dashed. If it were close, there would be no need for negotiations in the press of offers being SO far apart.

You must be new here, because that is a LONG Soxtalk tradition.

Very nice. It will be interesting to see how all of these OFs are spread around the minors to make playing time for them all. There is a pretty solid log jam right now.

And 16% from the buildings around the park they don't own. Also no one else gets to do that.

He leaves out the part where that means they also keep 100% of all stadium revenue, unlike others.

Reading the replies that this could be Boras leading the leaks, I doubt it for one simple reason. It is better for his client to have Manny Machado get a huge contract, because that gives him another comp to use in his own negotiations. If Manny is only worth $175 million, how does he justify Bryce being worth double that amount? How does he also keep bidders interested in Bryce if they know the could spend $100 million less and get a similar player? It doesn't make sense to me.

There is this too.

Reading the tweets from Ricketts radio tour today, it sure looks like he is doing his best to make sure the White Sox are stripped from the headlines right now.

How this hasn't been obvious all winter, I will never understand.
